The earliest surviving film featuring the Hungarian capital. The only information it came with, from the Austrian film archive, is that it was shot in 1916. Apart from the Sió fountains of Városliget featured in the opening sequences, all other monuments can still be visited today. The last reel is probably lost.

Another early and all-but-forgotten film was produced in Texas by famed cattleman Charles Goodnight at his JA Ranch in the Panhandle in 1916. Goodnight staged an old-style buffalo hunt, using Indians, led by a 70-hear-old Kiowa named Horse, from the reservation at Fort Sill, Okla. The Wiswall brothers from Denver spent nearly a month shooting the hunt and other footage at the ranch. The resulting film, Old Texas was shown at a cattlemen's association meeting in Denver and was subsequently lost.

On May 27, 1916, shortly before the Republican Party and Progressive Party conventions, the newly formed Roosevelt Non-Partisan League sponsors a demonstration of support for TR at Sagamore Hill. Many prominent men are included in the over 2,000 people who traveled from New York City to Oyster Bay to see TR and hear him speak on "Americanism." Panning shots of crowd gathered around porch; TR shakes hands. The man who appears to be addressing TR may be Richard M. Hurd, chairman of the committee which arranged the demonstration. TR addresses the crowd. At ca. ft. 43, there is a brief sequence of TR speaking in the Court of the Universe at the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco, on July 21, 1915. Final views of TR speaking at Sagamore Hill.

Presidential candidate Charles Evans Hughes campaigns in Pittsburgh vicinity on Sept. 27, 1916. Hughes was on a strenuous tour in an attempt to knit together various Republican factions. In Pittsburgh area he was joined by Republican notables, some of whom had been at odds with him: Senator Boies Penrose, Philander Knox, William Flinn. Hughes spoke in opposition to the eight-hour day and was silent on female suffrage. In film Hughes is attended by an official who appears, according to newspaper accounts and photos, to be William H. Coleman, Republican County Chairman. There are three different sequences: Hughes shaking hands with official, both apparently on a flag-draped platform, with young girls in background; Hughes addressing crowd of men in front of stone building; and Hughes speaking to group of workers in street, with background view of row houses. Women and children are visible on house porches. Interior title lists location as Duquesne, Pa.
