Although Ike was not married he, like the others, found the business of chasing horse-thieves rather restful. The students at Riverdale Girls' Seminary, although typically well-behaved, care about public opinion and are upset when they learn that Mary Adair, whose father had been convicted of embezzlement, would be attending their school. Mary is shielded by Ruth Graham the most popular girl in school. She is slowly accepted but when she pledges a sorority she is required to spend the night in a “haunted house” and while there learns information that will clear her father.

Resemblance of a society man to a notorious crook forms the basis of this dramatic, thrilling romance. the crook is after the other's jewels and a young girl is searching for an important paper. All three are involved in a Tango which reaches a sensational climax in the death of the other crook.

Harshly treated by her stepfather, a little girl lavishes her affections upon a mongrel. A doctor, summering near the farm, wishes to purchase a dog for vivisection and the girl's stepfather offers to sell her pet for five dollars. Panic-stricken, she runs away during the night, and is found next morning by the doctor's wife, fast asleep in a field with the dog.

Mrs Grayson accidentally leaves her baby son at a shop and flies into a panic when she returns home to find him missing.

Upon the death of his wife, George Blake, an attorney, leaves the east. He first places his pretty young daughter, Lucy, in a convent. After traveling for a few years from place to place, in an endeavor to find some location which he might be happy in, he settles in Lariat Hollow, a mining town. He soon falls in love with a woman of the dance hall named Anne. This incites the jealousy of Larkin, the political boss of the town. To break George Blake, Larkin nominates him for mayor, purposing to have him defeated. Anne suspects the plot and tries to influence Blake to refuse the nomination. But Blake has given his word to enter the contest and goes in to win. Blake's daughter writes to her father that she wishes to remain in the convent and become a nun. The father gives his consent. Now with every eastern tie severed, he asks Anne to marry him. She accepts, but says they will wait until after the election.

Tom and Sally are the only survivors when their wagon train is attacked by Swift Wing's braves. Starlight aids in their escape and they join a group of hunters. But there is more trouble when the tribe attacks again.

After his daughter's return the jeweler attempted to break the partnership he had with the crook. His partner, however, won the girl's love, and threatened to expose the father if he attempted to break off the match. By a clever ruse the father set the gangsters against their leader. His plan did not prove altogether successful.

Ham and Bud, working as mechanics, wreak havoc at a new car dealership, almost wrecking a big sale.

Miner John Walsh leaves his wife and baby behind on his barren claim taking their small store of gold to the settlement and gambling it away. He becomes embroiled in a fight with cowpuncher Burns and is killed. Shortly afterwards Mrs. Walsh, weakened by her attempt to work, her husband's claim collapses. The doctor declares only a transfusion can save Mrs. Walsh's life. Burns, now a fugitive, appears and volunteers. Mrs. Walsh's life is saved, but Burns, weakened by hunger and exposure, succumbs, happy in having made amends for his crime.

A clerk in a broker's office is accused of stealing a million dollars' worth of railroad bonds, but they are later found to be worthless, his innocence is proven, and he is given a promotion for his efforts.

"The Fable of the Girl Who Shifted the System" is about a girl called Ethel, who was very chatty but never could make a hit with the fellows. She talked too much about herself. At the parties she would talk herself blue in the face, but one by one the boys would get up and leave her. In despair she went to a wise married woman who told her she had the wrong system, that she should talk about the men. "The Fable of the Sarcastic Husband and the Lady Shopper" is about a "lady" who spent the entire day shopping at top speed, then brought home a small spool of thread.

Maria lives with her alcoholic father in a cabin the forest. One day she is seduced by the local land owner after he gives her a ring. Shortly afterwards he decides to leave the area and travel to Stockholm.

Maurice Tourneur's first American made film is a silent drama about a mother's love and sacrifice starring Emma Dunn, who also starred in the 1910 Broadway play version of the story.

John Kane, who is passionately fond of his sweet little daughter, has opened his house to a spinster cousin of his, who is alone in the world. Jane repays his kindness by secret envy and hate, and her chief passion in life is the hoarding of the money given her and counting it over and over. On the surface, however, she is suave and smiling. On account of an urgent business call, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie hurriedly close their summer home at Hudsoncliff and leave with their daughter, Jane, for the city. Bob, their son, decides to visit his parents at Hudsoncliff with his friend, Ralph Lyons. Bob and Ralph find the house locked up and, after some reconnoitering, enter through a window. Ralph hurts his ankle and is unable to attend a dance that evening, so Bob goes instead. Jane, on her arrival in the city, finds she has left her necklace in the safe at their summer home, and leaves a note for her mother, saying she is going back for it.

Silas Brown, a close-fisted country hotel-keeper in Hicksville, has a pretty daughter, Betty, who has a devoted suitor in Otis Perkins, a typical country town boy. The curiosity of Betty is excited by a package marked for Francis King, "to be called for." For three weeks the package remains without a claimant.

This film is notable for featuring then-sideshow performer Carl Herman Unthan. Plot synopsis unknown.

Once again, a secret agent risks life and limb for a packet of secret papers. This time around, the spy is a woman, attached to the United States secret service.
