Tom Mix fights against a crooked Sheriff.

A young man of high social position sacrifices his home and family for a girl of the stage. Cast off by his family, the young man finds that he is not qualified to earn his living. In the meanwhile his wife grows ill, a child is born, and several years after, the man finds himself in narrow straits. He prepares to go out and burglarize a place. His child enters when he leaves his revolver on the table. The child plays with it as with a toy and then innocently removes the bullets. The father comes back and takes the revolver and goes out. Accidentally, the son breaks into his own father's office. The father happens to be working late that night. The son breaks in, tries to shoot his own father. By the intervention of God, the son is saved from a patricide.

A lost film. Left motherless at seventeen, Mary Fuller stepped into her mother's place as not only the head, but support of the family. Her father married beneath him and had been disowned by his aristocratic family. The woman brought up her daughter with but one idea: that father's happiness was to be always the first consideration. Unfortunately, he repaid this devotion by sinking to ever increasing depths of ignominy until at the time of his wife's death his entire existence was spent in a drinking place.

Seventeen-year-old Des Grieux, studying philosophy at Amiens, comes from a noble and landed family, but forfeits his hereditary wealth and incurs the disappointment of his father by running away with Manon on her way to a convent. In Paris, the young lovers enjoy a blissful cohabitation, while Des Grieux struggles to satisfy Manon's taste for luxury. He acquires money by borrowing from his unwaveringly loyal friend Tiberge and by cheating gamblers.

Irene and Helen are worshipers at the shrine of Frangiapani, the tenor of the hour. When he sings at a concert, they meet in Irene's room, take the printed program of the concert, and one of them plays the accompaniment of the song he is actually singing. Irene sees an advertisement for a maid and waitress at Madame Frangiapani's home. The wild thought enters her brain that if she applies and gets the position, she will be nearer her adored. She puts the plan into execution, gets the position, and is waiting for the signor to appear. He does appear in a towering rage, at an adverse criticism in a paper which he is holding in his hand. His wife tries to soothe him and treats him like a little, unreasonable, bad-tempered child.

André Deed in the persona of a juvenile Boireau, has two ambitions: to get along with pretty schoolgirl Valentina Frascaroli and to punch his teacher in the head. The latter gets him tossed in the school's dungeon.

A comedy in which the unattractive young woman De Roseville loses her handbag. The bag is found by a pretty girl, but then she also forgets about it. When a young man brings the bag back, he expects to find the cute girl, instead of the ugly Ms. De Roseville.

When gold is discovered the first man there gets to stake his claim. Joe and another man race each other, which involves a thrilling episode on a train.

Helen Randall and Ruth Foster were little tots. The two children lived side by side on one of the fashionable streets in New York City. One day Helen and her parents were starting for the park when the little one suggested that they invite Ruth to go with them. The idea pleased them all, and as to Ruth, she was in an ecstasy of delight. She skipped down the steps into the Randalls' automobile, and her father (a widower), watching her as the machine whizzed off, realized more than ever the little treasure he possessed.

The manager calls in the director to give him one in a hurry. The director shows him several scripts, but they do not suit; so the director is compelled to call the scenario writer to have a play written in an hour. The director summons his company and reads the play to them; then tells them to make up, while he gives his plots to the stage manager. Being weary, he falls asleep in a chair in the center of the stage and dreams the following: A young girl, employed in an office, falls in love with the head clerk. The boss is a black mustached villain, who is also in love with the girl.

John Hobbs is a candidate for sheriff, so is Sam Barton. John is a favorite in the vicinity, but Barton has the political pull. Things look none too well for John, when Mary Lemon arrives to visit her brother's ranch. Mary is a suffragette. Having come to the country for a rest from men and work, she promptly forms an attachment for John and starts right in to turn a probable defeat into a sure victory. Mary calls a meeting and the boys attend anticipating some amusement. They leave enthusiastic about Clary's charming personality and many of them lukewarm in their adherence to Barton. Mary is not satisfied, election day is at hand and the fight is not won.

Boarding school friends Edith and Yvonne's intimate friendship is put to the test by fate in this tragic love triangle. Their paths diverge when Edith's father dies and she has to move back home to her mother. Years pass, Edith marries a handsome officer, while Yvonne pursues an artistic career. Time and again she declines Edith's invitations to come and live with her and her officer, Kai Hornung. Gavroche lives by his wit, so when he reads an ad, which tells that a rich American girl will marry the man who can cause her to experience the greatest thrill or sensation, he puts his mental ingenuity working, and he conceives a plan to win. He calls at her address and sees two suitors try and fail. He then goes to a menagerie, where he buys two lions. With these he returns and enters the office where the contract is to be signed if he should prove the victor. All flee before Gavroche and his lions, all but the heiress, who flies into his arms begging protection. Thus it is that he caused her the greatest emotion or thrill and she gladly names him victor and husband-to-be.

On his way to file a claim, a lone prospector stops overnight with a settler and his family. The miner little suspects that his host plots to steal the gold. But the settler’s daughter overhears the plan and warns the visitor just in time. The couple escapes with the woman’s younger sister. In store-bought finery suggesting new wealth, they return to the scene of the attempted crime and make peace with the settler. “We’ll work the mine together,” promises the prospector.

A long, wet night in the city results in a serious case of hangovers. Mr. Knold must realise this when he has to start his day’s work after only a few hours of sleep. From the moment he leaves the house until he returns and collapses in the middle of his wife’s coffee gathering, his day is filled with troubles. The father of a working class family is having trouble finding a job, because the local textile mill is hiring only inexpensive child labor. Reluctantly, he allows his oldest daughter to work in the mill. Meanwhile, in New York, the wealthy businessman Hanscomb is being urged to speak out against child labor, but he declines to do so. Then, while Mrs. Hanscomb and her daughter are traveling, the young girl accidentally wanders away, gets lost, and is taken in by the working class family. To help them, she takes a job in the mill. While this is taking place, Hanscomb has initiated a search for the daughter even as he goes about building up his financial empire.

Anna, the daughter of an elderly farmer, and the farmhand Hans are in love and dream of a future together. However, Anna’s younger brother witnesses one of their secret meetings and tattles to their father, who immediately breaks up the rendezvous and dismisses Hans. The farmer has other plans: he intends to rid himself of debt by marrying Anna off to a wealthy local farmer. Hans and Anna part ways with heavy hearts, vowing eternal fidelity. Hans leaves for America, while Anna stubbornly rejects the rich farmer’s persistent advances. One day, good news arrives from Hans, and the young couple face a bright future together. (Stumfilm.dk)

Miss Taku Takagi is a girl who sacrifices her life that the Mikado's army may get plans of a Russian fort. Her husband had been detailed to get the plans; but drunk at the critical moment she takes his place. A sentry wounds her; but she manages not only to escape, but to delay the search long enough for her husband to get away with the papers.

Secret agent Tom Ware is given an important message to deliver to Russia. However a spy steals the message and Tom must retrieve it.

In August 1857, the clipper ship Dunbar arrived at Sydney Heads after a long voyage from England, only to be smashed against the jagged cliffs at the entrance to Port Jackson during a severe rainstorm. It remains one of Australia’s worst maritime disasters, resulting in the loss of 121 lives and only a single survivor. This is a dramatic reenactment of the tale.

Bob Burton is a misogynist who spends time with other men who share his views, but Bob's friends play a role when he shows that he's not completely disgusted by his friend Harry's sister.

A married couple is employing the pretty Anna as their domestic servant, but the wife does not like her because her husband loves her too much. The wife decides to hire an ugly servant (Cunegonde) instead. However, Cunégonde falls in love with the husband and becomes so clumsy that she is sent away again.

Angelo and his daughter Bianca are poor Italian immigrants. They sell fruit and vegetables on the street with the help of Nicola, who is in love with Bianca. To Nicola's dismay, a flirtatious barber by the name of Guiseppe begins to attract Bianca's attention. What Bianca does not realize is that Guiseppe is only interested in her hair, which a wig maker is willing to pay a considerable sum for. When Angelo falls ill and they find themselves without money for food or medicine, Bianca is left with little choice. - Harpodeon

A countryside adventure: two siblings, ill at ease in a subordinate social position, challenge the owner Alessandro; Giuseppe doesn’t want to work for him, while Carmela wants to force him to love her. However, class conflict isn’t hidden by emotions and characters.

A woman imagines the revenge of a gypsy that she sent away. This piece is told in multiple scenes, in an increasingly artificial world, as the venue shifts from a realistic courtyard to a wild, stagebound prison in which various stage monsters appear.

Billy Altman, a photoplay author, unable to sell his manuscripts and being pestered with collectors, attempts to end his life by swallowing a pint of liquid glue. As a suicide potion, the glue is a failure, but Billy discovers that it affects his breath, any object that he happens to breathe upon instantly adheres.

One little girl lived in the country. She was a model child, everybody admitted it, but it cannot be denied that she was more or less of a cry-baby and a coward.
