An expedition to the lunar ice caves contracts a deadly moon-fungus. Stopping en route they contaminate a space station with the fungus, which soon begins to take over the entire place.
A ship en route to a space station is attacked by a deadly space fungus. The ship's commander (William Leslie) has succumbed to some sort of space sickness and is determined to press on to their destination - of course, taking the plague with him. Once they arrive, mutiny is their only option if any/all are to survive as the fungus runs riot on the base too. Despite the fact that this was made in 1965, it has a very 1950's look about it; the dialogue isn't quite so stilted and the cast do a decent job here. The effects are very basic, but they don't matter so much - this is just quite good fun.
The feature-length pilot for this Emmy award-winning show. Babylon 5 is the latest in a series of space stations built by humans. The Vorlon ambassador, Kosh, has been poisoned. It is the new commanding officer, Jeffrey Sinclair, who has the responsibility of finding the culprit. Otherwise, the space station will fail in its role of bringing many alien races together.
A planet is discovered in the same orbit as Earth's but is located on the exact opposite side of the sun, making it not visible from Earth. The European Space Exploration Council decide to send American astronaut Glenn Ross and British scientist John Kane via spaceship to explore the other planet.
