A water sprite settled in a mountain stream. He stops the water and catches fish. So the frightened villagers try to persuade him to move to the Jizera River, where there is plenty of water. The water in the stream has dried up, and he cannot walk on dry land. But if they built a higher dam to raise the water level in the stream, he would swim away today and even pay them... Folk carols from Wallachia played by Beskydy music... In 1992, to make the Christmas atmosphere more pleasant, Ostrava's creators prepared a musical programme in which a number of well-known carols will be performed by the Rožnov gajdoš, the Beskydská muzika brass band and the children's ensemble Zvoneček from the Pod Skalkou Primary School in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. The programme will also feature several well-known personalities who will talk about what Christmas means to them: the actor Josef Kobr, the director of the Wallachian Open Air Museum PhDr. Jaroslav Štika, the Olympic winner Vítězslav Mácha, the former Polish Consul General Jerzy Kronhold and the businessman Peter Kominek.

Documentary about the Peace Congress held in Vienna in 1952. The film shows the opening speech of the President of the World Peace Council, Professor F. Joliot-Curie followed by speeches by a number of outstanding peace activists, representatives of nations from 85 countries. In addition to the main session, the film also includes footage of the meetings of the various commissions and sub-commissions, then footage of the streets of Vienna, where the peace delegates were besieged by the youth of Vienna and their requests for autographs, and then footage of the closing session of the Congress and the procession through which the Viennese greeted the peace delegates. The film was made with the cooperation of the Polish State Film, DEFY and Czechoslovak State Film.
