Through his friend Eftalya, he learns that Necmiye Hanım has entered Şekip Paşa's house. Together with a few friends, he raids the house and manages to rescue Pertev Bey, who is being held captive by Necmiye Hanım and Şekip Paşa, and escape with him.

Imre Azem filmed the first in a series of documentaries about Hatay following the February 6th earthquakes in April 2023. Over the past two and a half years, he has attempted to understand and portray what happened in Hatay through three more documentaries. Now, in the fifth documentary of this series, we witness lives becoming increasingly difficult in every sense, escalating health problems, and the unrecognizable new face of the city. We ask ourselves: Could it have been otherwise? Is a city whose memory has been erased still the same city?

She lives with her mother, Susika, who has not spoken since her husband was arrested and imprisoned by the Turkish authorities. She cannot write or read either. Helin wants nothing more than to find out the story of her father. It is a story of how political oppression of a people and culture impacts that community, how it silences people, and about human resilience. Keeping a culture alive is a form of resistance.
