“Tetrist” is a lost Tetris game set-up of today’s Istanbul. The game starts with the image of a re-worked 16th century Pera District miniature of Nasuh the Macer, and moves on with the company of music art that documents the last century of Istanbul. The buildings in the district fall down like Tetris pieces, and get placed by an invisible player. Having been built faster and faster with the proceeding time and changing music art, buildings leave Galata Tower behind and move on to the point of “Game Over”.

In the hills of northeastern Turkey, in a village perched above a valley, a traditional funeral ceremony is performed in the front yard of one of the houses. But then, in the night, a mysterious dialogue between two men unveils humor and tragedy hidden beyond the yard.

"Connected" addresses the addictions of its characters. However, it also explores how these addictions impact the lives of others beyond their own experiences. Centered around Irem, who is addicted to apples; Semih, who is addicted to games; Torbacı, who is addicted to money and fame; and Cihan, who is addicted to violence, "Connected" not only explores these characters' addictions but also how these addictions connect people to one another. "Connected" shows that addictions are merely the visible side of the coin, and that on the other side of the coin, the lives of completely different people are actually interconnected, and without these connections, addictions would have no meaning.

What exchanges take place through the object itself—sensually, esthetically, abstractly? We often forget that most of the things we use are made by the labor of others, often in distant places, living dramatically different, diverse lives. What do these objects mean to them? How does their labor, their aspirations, their sense of alienation or satisfaction connect to ours?
