Last night, the audience at the cinemas operated by the Cinema Theater Company was pleasantly surprised with the screening of a splendid film of the bullfight that took place yesterday afternoon. It is gratifying to note this record set by the Cinema Theater Company, showing a film four hours after the event. This is true proof of the company's commitment to serving its patrons, effectively aided by its photographer, Mr. Jorge Goitizolo, who filmed the movie.

Today, this company [referring to the Cinema Theater Company] premieres in its main locations the magnificent film of the military maneuvers carried out last Friday in the fields of Villa and San Juan. The company's photographer, Mr. Goitizolo, and his assistants marched on foot alongside the troops who were carrying out the attack on the fortified village, and upon which the artillery fire supporting said attack was directed. The explosions of the bombs can be seen in some parts of the film. This film is of real interest, and we have no doubt that the graphic depiction it presents of the brilliant maneuvers recently carried out will draw the Lima public to the Cinema Theater.

Carlos Tenaud is clearly visible there, along with his reception, General Muñiz, and countless other well-known people. There are about ten aspects of the reception shown in the film, and both the footage from Callao and that from Lima demonstrates the skill of the artist, Mr. Goitizolo, who filmed it. This is the first film in an interesting series that the Belén company offers to present every two weeks, and which, judging by the success of this premiere, will constitute a beautiful collection of all that is remarkable and characteristic of Lima. In the film that premiered, we saw scenes splendidly filmed in Chosica, the Plaza de Toros, the Bomba Lima bullfight, skating, people leaving Mass, etc.

It is a film of a journey on the Central Railway from Callao to the regions of Chanchamayo, Huancayo, Perené, and Mantaro. It is shown in five parts, with a total length of 3,000 feet. It is reported that the film, with a total duration of two hours, “will be sent to England as an illustrative report for our country.”
