M.A. Littler's film diary, Beyond the White Rains, subtly reflects the dichotomy of man, mind, and place. In Littler's singular style, the film juxtaposes an author's interior landscape with the dramatic exterior of a remote coastal setting. Set within the interior of an old whaler's cottage, the film captures the ever-changing weather, the impervious sea, and moving clouds, reflecting a lifelong study of the interaction between man and place. Enigmatic, elegiac, and at times eerie, the film's pared-down images and otherworldly sound design reveal both the external beauty and the haunting interior landscape.

This film explores gender identity in Ireland. It focuses on two main questions: what is gender identity and where is it located in the individual (is it in the heart, is it in the body, is it in the soul?). Three Irish based transgender people, Lucie/Richard, Diane and Stephen, answer these questions from the position of their own gender journey experiences.

Tinsmith, storyteller, and traditional fiddler, John Doherty, travels the hills of Donegal. Here he talks to Sean O'Haughey of the Irish Folklore Commission. John Doherty was born into a very musical travelling family in February 1900 in the Ardara area of Co. Donegal as the youngest of 9 children. The film follows John’s travels and explores the Doherty family’s place in the musical traditions of the countryside. John’s parents were Mickey Mór Doherty and Mary McConnell. Mickey Mór Doherty had a musical inheritance of a couple of generations of both Doherty and Sweeney musicians on his father’s side. Also, Mary McConnell was a sister of Alec and Mickey McConnell, who were very well-known travelling tinsmiths and fiddle players in their day.

Two men enter a tunnel seconds before a train, only to exit a few moments later, visibly injured.

A portrait of avant-garde artist Aurelio Caminati (1922–2008), whose prophetic vision spanned six turbulent decades through a determined compulsion to create. Set against the baroque intensity of Ireland's wild Atlantic coast and local heritage, the film fuses the raw power of nature with this resistance master's defiant, ever-evolving body of work. Aurelio Caminati channels nature's fury – declaring nature as the ultimate power source. Rejecting artistic and ideological conformity, Caminati plunges the viewer into subconscious undercurrents arising when storm-force nature trumps conventional ideologies.
