'Identities' is a feature length documentary, charting the multi coloured, multi cultural transgender community in Ireland. Five personal stories illustrate and give shape to the different but parallel worlds of Transvestism, Transsexualism, Drag, Homosexuality, Sex, Sexual identity, and Gender Dysphoria. The film unfolds as fly on the wall footage introduces us to the world of each character. Their incredible stories are documented in a series of revealing interviews, each narrative preceded by a performance art piece, and more abstract self-representation. Personal histories charting hardship, rejection and discrimination will be placed in a wider social, political and religious context through these characters' personal experiences. At its heart, this is a film about the human spirit. Overcoming stereotype and categorization, we break down the gender construct, allowing personality and human emotion a path to expression.

Ballaí Luimnigh (Walls of Limerick) is an original vertical dance film incorporating aerial circus with contemporary Irish dance, created by Kathryn Cooley, Máire Dee and Arturo Bandinelli at the Irish Aerial Creation Centre in Limerick. This project uses the medium of film and aerial dance to distort the audience’s perception of what is physically possible, altering reality and creating an illusionary body/spirit dissociation. The film creators draw from Limerick's history and culture to influence both the narrative and some of the film’s imagery. The title alludes both to the well-known Irish dance and to stories of the city, from the Vikings and the siege of Limerick (1690) to the current cultural and social realities of Limerick.

Going to the Mountain consists of three formal studies of pre-verbal babies. Through its unlikely protagonists, the video considers how the pre-verbal child might represent a site of embodied knowledge. Using slow motion camera, mirrored surfaces and rhythmic editing, the video attempts to depict the complexities of their gesture, rhythm and movement through a process of defamiliarization. Going to the Mountain is an acute, unsentimental portrait of Nico, Grace and Maya, with a score developed in collaboration with Andrew Fogarty, featuring improvised percussion by David Lacey made in response to audio recordings of a 7 month old child as well as newly commissioned soft sculptures by artist Barbara Knezevic.
