My childhood home was built in 1852. Just before it's renovation, I had the chance to visit it again and scanned every room, every corner, every crack, through photogrammetry. The point clouds captured, reconstruct it's digital twin in 3d space, a navigatable virtual copy. In "Mnemonic nebulae", clouds of points organize a "digital nebula", where gravity pulls particles into densities that compose fleeting images of the interior of the house, through which the eye travels from room to room. The forest of Agia Paraskevi in Vovousa, a mountainous village in Western Greece, is one of the last remaining sacred forests. Untouched by the passage of time, it’s being preserved by the myths that comprise the village’s oral tradition, which in turn passes on from generation to generation and building up the forest’s legend. People say that if the forest is “disturbed” in any way, the consequences will be devastating. As a result, the forest survives without any human intervention – something rare in our modern times.

In "Spaces #1", 8 beloved Greek directors shot, after commissioning by the Festival, a short film at home, making their own timely comment on the new reality that we live in. "The quarantine of 2020 was a big surprise for everyone. Milena, a film student is locked in her parents' house. She is not allowed to travel, so she is forced to spend the quarantine and the Easter holidays alone. The situation with the corona virus makes her feel alone and imprisoned, while her dreams, goals and life are postponed along with the end of the lock down, so she chooses to spend her time, continuing her life inside a video game, while time around her he passes, without her. It is a documentary-self-portrait that has characteristics of a quarantine diary. In the film we see Milena learning to cook, continuing her distance learning and the resurrection from her balcony. The two realities: that of the game and the quarantine get confused and one seems more real than the other. "
