Kaywan Mohsen has both written and directed Made in Denmark: The Movie, subtitled "There is a sinful country" published in 2012. It was inspired by Kaywan Mohsens documents film from 2002 called "Made In Denmark". Meanwhile he made in 2008 action-drama "Eye To Eye".

We meet Franka just before her literary debut with the novel Vulva Vulva Vap Vap. Outwardly, everything seems splendid, but beneath the surface, she is plagued by anxious impostor syndrome, which is why she publishes under a pseudonym. On this particular evening, as we encounter Franka in a bar, she suddenly finds herself in the company of the prominent culture critic Asger. The two embark on a whirlwind romance-starting with small talk and quickly escalating into infatuation. But in the midst of the intoxication, Franka discovers that Asger is set to review her novel, and the outlook is not promising. A young man finds employment as an apprentice in a grocery store. As he is short of money for his sick mother’s medicine and furthermore is eager to ask a charming girl out, he succumbs to temptation and steals from the till. Caught red-handed, he is sentenced to two years in a correctional institution. By the time he is released, his old mother has died of grief and poverty, and he is reduced to begging passers-by for alms. Eugen Hamann, a student, finds employment as a tutor for Alice, a pastor’s daughter. Before long, warm feelings arise between the two.
