The Madsen brothers' critically acclaimed, festive, and musical Dommedagsshow (Doomsday Show) is about disasters, Kamchatka crabs, and the darkest corners of the mind. The starting point is, of course, scientific, and there is naturally plenty of wonderful music and fun to soften the worst passages. And most importantly of all: it all ends happily. In addition to appearing on stage themselves, Peter Lund Madsen and Anders Lund Madsen have written the lyrics for Enden er nær (The End is Near), and they are accompanied by Strygerkvartet i guld, the international mime troupe Das Fleischkvartet des Bielefelds, and Denmark's best singers, Martin Ullits Dahl and Billie Koppel. Maria Vinterberg directed, and the set design is by Marianne Nilsson. The music was composed by Teitur and Bent Fabricius-Bjerre.

A strangely surreal short animated film by the beloved multi-talented artist Storm P. The film begins with live-action footage of Storm P. standing in front of a canvas where his familiar characters, the Three Little Men, come to life and walk out of a door in the picture. What follows is an animated sequence with a somewhat fragmented narrative. In the first part, a very corpulent gentleman peers hungrily through a keyhole and sees a woman feasting at a well-laid table. The middle section tells the story of a man clashing with a gendarme. In the final scene, we are in the living room of an angry woman waiting for her husband to come home. In true Storm P. style, the laws of physics are broken freely: characters can dematerialise and crawl through keyholes, be kicked all the way across town and tie their limbs up in knots. But on a stormy night before the race Aligermaa's horse is attacked and wounded, and suddenly nothing seems certain. The Adventures of Aligermaa is a vivid and thrilling documentary. The filmmakers seemingly had close contact with the main characters and their culture, and the result is a heartfelt film with breathtaking panoramas and a captivating storyline.
