There are many ways to travel! Rich Director Brown's two young daughters prefer a first-class coupe in a high-speed train. While the train whizzes along the rails on its way to the big city, the young ladies in a strange way meet two strange guys, one long and thin, the other small and thick ... Fy and Bi! Fy and Bi are on their way to the capital to look for a place, they have an introductory letter with them, and it turns out that it is for the young ladies' father. The two young ladies promise to put a good word in for them, but director Brown receives Fy and Bi with much distrust, and he throws them out. Through many trials and a breathtaking ride in a motorboat, however, Fy and Bi manage to make a good impression on the director.

In the bleak winter landscape of Denmark, two social workers find a young woman, alone in the woods. But there is something troubling about her; she doesn't speak and her eyes fill everyone around her with angst. As her presence start to creep into everyone around her, they start to second guess, whether taking her away from the woods, was a good idea.

Annima's and the cook's boyfriends also appear on stage. They want to please the Duke, but at the same time, they don't want anything to happen to their girlfriends.

Maria Feodorovna (1847-1928), born Dagmar, daughter of King Christian IX was in 1866 married to Alexander III (1845-1894), Czar of Russia (1881-1894). The couple often visited Denmark, where the czar found a safe harbour away from the unstable Russia.

'From Siberia to Moscow' (1876) was August Bournonville’s last long ballet. It was inspired by an 1874 trip to Russia, where Bournonville met Marius Petipa and saw several of his ballets. The music was composed by Carl Christian Møller. The smart prances of the Jockey Dance are here performed by Gustav Uhlendorff (1875-1962), dancer and later master of the Danish Royal Ballet in the 1920s, and dancer Richard Jensen (1883-1935), who acted in a number of Danish silent films in the early 1910s. They do what suits them, have a lot of temper and attitude, and often get up and down. In an instance of failure, abuse and violence, only the girlfriends are usually leaning up. The raw life on the edge of the law, the lack of schooling and the eternal confrontations with the surroundings makes it difficult for the wild girls to imagine otherwise.

When Møller Jakob Clausen of "Højmøllen" sits at his wife's deathbed, he makes her promise that if he marries again, he will choose a woman who will be good to their little son, Hans. And in motherly care for her little son, the dying wife mentions the forester's gentle and kind sister, Hanne, who will surely be able to become both a faithful wife for the miller and a good mother for Hans.

A beauty contest, in which the young Jonna, who works as a sales assistant in a dress shop, participates almost by chance, results in her being suddenly swept into the world of film and show business, because a film producer in attendance finds her type interesting and wants to try to launch her as a new name.

“Tingleff, Tingleff or Tingleff” is the show where one of Denmark's sharpest stand-up comedians combines jokes, storytelling and the big screen into a well-told story based on life's many choices and the eternal question: ”What if?” What if the young Tingleff had never left his hometown of Kollund, but instead married his high school sweetheart and got a real job? Would he have been happier? Or the opposite? What would life have been like if different choices had been made along the way? With his usual daring, Tingleff fantasizes about the paths he never took in terms of lifestyle, relationships and political beliefs. In this way, the audience meets a total of three Tingleffs - the real Tingleff and two that never were, but could have been.

When waiter Thomas Hansen has put aside 10-øre on 10-øre to become a hotel owner, you can clearly see that the spirit has changed. It is not enough, by the way. Therefore, Thomas borrows the missing 10,000 kr. from a guest, rentier Birkehøj, who remarks that he can always get those shillings back when Thomas has become a millionaire. Thomas' entire fortune is eaten up by smart money men, and he ends up as a farmhand. He only gets a job again when a maid is laid off. Thomas becomes a housekeeper, and in his new job he encounters justice. A hotel owner Ravn from Ringkøbing shows up as a guest in the house.

An intense and claustrophobic family drama about longing and regret. Debt and illness. A story that burns magically and insisting. A film about how difficult it sometimes feels to be part of a family and how difficult it can be to be a parent and a son.

Though they are strangers to each other, three young men trapped in the ruins of an amphitheatre reveal their innermost shame, fears and secrets to break free and accept their fluid sexuality. By taking its starting point in the bisexual man, the conversation turns into a broader inquiry into gender and sexuality and becomes an existential portrait making to reframe our general understanding of men.

Rocket Brothers is a 2003 documentary film directed by photographer Kasper Torsting. It explores the ambitions, anxieties and joys of a creative process in the Danish rock band Kashmir. Torsting followed the band over a period of four years starting just after the success of their album The Good Life. In the documentary we follow the daily lives of the band members and come to witness their struggle against the expectations from both themselves and other people. We see the difficulties in overcoming amongst others writer's block, witness the conflicts amongst the group members and discover the profound respect and love with which they treat each other - all in the process of making the album Zitilites. Besides seeing the band writing the Zitilities album, we also witness their failed break-through in America, and lead singer Kasper Eistrup's audition for Roger Waters Pink Floyd tour. Eistrup auditioned as the lead singer and guitarist.
