He gets access to Congo s largest tin-mine, which is being controlled by different armed groups, and where children work for days in narrow mine tunnels to dig out the minerals that end up in our phones.

The two young officers Edmond and Clayton both fall in love with Rose – the daughter of the Minister of War. When Rose falls victim to a serious accident, Clayton risks his life to save her whereas Edmond cowardly shrinks from helping. Static shots of massive apartment blocks and interior views of private apartments forms the visual side, which is intercut with a textual side constructed of observations and memories of the residents, translated from Russian into a broken English. Entering private homes built on tangible experiences, memories and imagination, the film questions how we think of collective memory and how the present may hold traces of history, family relations and a fallen political ideology in the shapes of physical objects and structures.

A large number of patients suffered serious consequences, and the LSD doctors were accused of subjecting patients to experimentation, coercion and lethal treatments with LSD, but were acquitted of all charges. But now, 60 years later, a secret archive of LSD doctors has emerged, casting doubt on the authorities’ decision in one of the most bizarre drug scandals in Danish history. Journalist Lotte Mathilde Nielsen is the director, and actor Thure Lindhardt has directed the dramatisation, using all his cinematic experience with dramatic reconstructions and star actors like Søren Pilmark and Amalie Dollerup in the roles of the LSD doctors.
