Shōnen Ninja Kaze no Fujimaru, also known as Samurai Kid, is a Japanese anime series produced by Toei Animation. 65 episodes aired from 7 June 1964 until 31 August 1965. It tells the story of a ninja's pupil that controlled the wind. It was inspired by the manga 'Kaze no Ishimaru' by Sanpei Shirato and was animated by Yasuji Mori and Hayao Miyazaki. The anime was renamed "Kaze no Fujimaru" in order to associate it with its sponsor, Fujisawa Pharmaceuticals. The opening theme, 'Shōnen Ninja Kaze no Fujimaru' and the closing theme, 'Tatakau Shōnen Ninja', were both performed by the Nishirokugo Boy's Choir. The series originally ended with a repeat of the opening; the separate ending song came later.

This is the story of the seven-sister unit "Komekami! Girls," children of the rice deity, born from the tradition: "In a single grain of rice, seven gods reside." When their mother (the deity of rice, or the rice-god queen) was called back in haste to the celestial realm and no longer able to return to the earthly realm they search for her traces using Usa City (Oita Prefecture) as their base, and teleport to Hachiman shrines throughout Kyushu island. The story is set in the late 1950s and early 1960s, during the height of Japan's economic boom, when the circus is a major form of entertainment. When Ryuu is born his tribe tries to sacrifice him to a Tyrannosaurus named Shirano because of the color of his skin. He is however saved by a monkey who raises him as her own son. Meanwhile Ryuu's mother has left the tribe and is out on a quest to find Ryuu. 16 years later Ryuu meets a girl named Ran who was sold to the tribe Ryuu originaly came from. The tribe is not happy to see Ryuu alive and tries to sacrifice him again, this time by burning him alive. Before they can get the deed done the tribe is massacred along with Ryuu's adoptive mother by Shirano. Ryuu then sets out on a quest together with Ran to find his mother and Ran's brother Don.

Bush Baby, Little Angel of the Grasslands, shortened as The Bush Baby, is the title of a 1992 anime series consisting of 40, 25-minute episodes. It is based on the novel, The Bushbabies, by Canadian author William Stevenson. The series is part of Fuji Television & Nippon Animation's World Masterpiece Theater which consists of anime TV series adaptations of classic children's books. Yamato 2520 was Yoshinobu Nishizaki's attempt at a sequel to Space Battleship Yamato, set several hundred years after the original series. However, Nishizaki was sued by Leiji Matsumoto for breach of copyright. Ultimately, Yamato 2520 was left unfinished after only three episodes were released. The OVA series features mechanical designs by Syd Mead and a soundtrack by jazz musician David Matthews.
