A young girl finds herself entranced by a beam of light moving through her home and tries to capture it in a jar, only to realize that there are things she loves that she cannot posses.

During Chinese New Year, security guard Ah Beng (Jack Lim) receives a call from his company. He is asked to cancel his Lunar New Year holiday for a simple mission, which infuriates him. However, Ah Beng immediately changes his mind knowing that the mission promises a handsome reward of RM1 million.

After spending 20 years in prison, notorious villa thief Juan "el Candela" is released and reunited with his son Juan "el Chispa" and his friend Cristo. While "el Candela" tries to adapt to the new world he finds himself in, his son plans to raise money to fulfil his musical dream, using his father as a reference.
