Cameron is a student immersed with his studies. He is completely absorbed in his work and is able to eek through a simple living. To his surprise he finds that his illustrations take life.

A man in his 30s is on the run with a nine-year-old girl. As they take a ferry to the United Kingdom, traces of a common past come to light — a past filled with loss and sorrow. Fleeing in secret, they end up hiding in a small apartment on the seafront, where they live day-to-day, exploring each other’s emotional territories. Mourning will bind them, but is this alliance of dependence appropriate for them and for the outside world?

"Waiting for the Barbarians" is a unique poetic and cinematic work. The nocturnal, panoramic view of the city of Beirut shifts between the stillness of photography and the movement of animated images, through a hypnotic process of superimposing images and layering exposure times. Carried along by this passage of time and this dilution of geographical identity, a voice reciting the eponymous text by Greek poet Constantine Cavafy (1863-1933) blends in with the rhythm of the images.

L'Heure espagnole is a one-act operatic farce written by Ravel and first premiered in 1911. The work's Latin atmosphere is reinforced through Ravel's incorporation of dance music like the malagueña, the jota, and the habañera.

This animated film by Martine Chartrand (Black Soul) recounts the friendship between a young Félix Leclerc and Frank Randolph Macpherson, a Jamaican chemical engineer and university graduate who worked for a pulp and paper company.
