The sculptor Sergio Camargo died 20 years ago. If the bones left in the grave are in fact his remains, would his sculptures be living remains? What's ephemeral and what's lasting? Is there a possible eternity? We see the movie through the eyes of the daughter confronting both the artist and the man.

The story of Iskra, a Croatian refugee who works as a radiologist in an inner city surgery. In an effort to recover from her violent past, Iskra has made her life one of ritual - every day she takes the very same train to the to the very same job in the very same building. But she finds that her new life is a lonely one and, despite the odd imaginative trip into fancy when the tedium of her everyday world gets the better of her, devoid of true happiness. That is of course until she meets Leo... However it would seem that for Iskra, even love was not meant to be easy...

It is the year 2027 and the world has suffered an unspecified socio-economic catastrophe. The aftermath is so severe that even major cities are reduced to apocalyptic wastelands where food water and shelter are scarce. A scavenger named Gilles along with his teenage son try to find their way amongst the desolate remnants of Paris. All the while they must avoid capture outside the strict, daily curfew enforced by the masked agents of a shadow government and their ferocious dogs.

In the summer of 1977, NASA sent Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 on an epic journey into interstellar space. Together and alone, they will travel until the end of the universe. Each spacecraft carries a golden record album, a massive compilation of images and sounds embodying the best of Planet Earth. According to Carl Sagan, “[t]he spacecraft will be encountered and the record played only if there are advanced space-faring civilizations in interstellar space. But the launching of this bottle into the cosmic ocean says something very hopeful about life on this planet.” While working on the golden record, Sagan met and fell madly in love with his future wife Annie Druyan. The record became their love letter to humankind and to each other. In the summer of 2010, I began my own hopeful voyage into the unknown. "Mademoiselle Else" is an adaptation in video of Fräulein Else, a novel by Arthur Schnitzler. It is the account in the first person of the last days of a young girl from a good family who, on holiday in the Alps, has to ask Dorsday, an old art agent and bon-vivant for money to help her father, a Viennese lawyer ridden with debts. Dorsday asks in exchange to be allowed to admire her nude. Scenes shot in the Alps break up the story to allow Else to literally distance herself from the rest of the film shot in the studio, a dark room that becomes the recipient of the various mental projections of the young girl. These two different environments enable us to understand the comings and goings in the Else who weighs herself up and Else who weighs up the situation. As it is indeed at Else's level, around sexual benchmarks, that Schnitzler develops his critique of liberalism.
