This compelling film chronicles the untold story of the Puerto Rican 65th Infantry Regiment, the only all-Hispanic unit in U.S. Army history. Having performed with distinction early in the Korean War, the Borinqueneers of the 65th would face their greatest challenge in the fall of 1952, when more than 100 soldiers were arrested.

In his film "Between Madness and Art" director Christian Beetz takes the viewer on a voyage of discovery through the archives of the Prinzhorn Collection. The world's most important collection of pictorial works by psychiatric patients has had a lasting influence on psychiatric and therapeutic practice since its creation in the early 1920s. Modernist art, in particular Paul Klee, Alfred Kubin, Max Ernst and with him the Surrealist movement, also became enthusiastic about the works of "Insane Art". But the film does not remain solely in the historical reappraisal, but takes a step into the present. It accompanies two mentally ill patient-artists and formulates the central question of the current definition of art and illness.

Theatrical Inka - Danuta Siedzikówna - survived the death of her mother, who was murdered by the Gestapo in Bialystok in 1943. Her father died in Tehran after leaving a Soviet gulag. The orphaned sisters, Inka and her siblings, were raised by their grandmother. The heroine was an AK nurse. She was sentenced to death for joining the unit of Major Szendzielarz alias Łupaszko, which was subordinate to the legal authorities of the Republic of Poland in exile. The judges relied on false testimony from militiamen, which, by the way, did not fully incriminate her. In a secret message to her grandmother, Siedzikówna wrote: "Tell my grandmother that I behaved as I should."

For a week in September 1981, Twin/Tone Records took over this recently started small stage at First Avenue, back before it was legendary, and presented a show that helped launch the legend. The film captures bands like the Replacements and Hüsker Dü in their beginnings. A rare chance to relive being in the room when it was dirty and dangerous. The film also captures groups like Things That Fall Down and the Hypstrz, bands that never found commercial success but had a massive impact on bands that did. M-80 turned on a lot of bands; this is a document of them raw and jagged.

Requiem (2007), like Clown (2005), takes place in the Brazilian jungle. Four large projections encircle the viewer, who is transported deep into the rainforest by images and sounds of buzzing insects, singing birds and raindrops falling on vegetation. They seem to emphasise the forest as a sublime, untouched, almost paradise-like space – an illusion that is dissolved when suddenly huge trees start, one after another, to collapse into the tangle of green without a trace of human involvement.

An intimate portrait of the nuns of Kala Rongo, a rare and exceptional Buddhist Monastery exclusively for women situated in Nangchen, in remote and rural northeastern Tibet. These nuns are receiving religious and educational training previously unavailable to women, and playing an unprecedented role in preserving their rich cultural heritage even as they slowly reshape it. They graciously allow the camera a never-before-seen glimpse into their vibrant spiritual community and insight into their extraordinary lives. Some shy, some outspoken, all are committed to the often difficult life they have chosen, away from the yak farms and herding families of their birth.
