Doug Sahm a/k/a Sir Doug was both a Texas rock & roll legend and pioneer. True, there were others before him (Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison come to mind), but the Sir Douglas Quintet counterattacked the British invasion of the mid 1960's with their own brand of Chicano-influenced rock that they had been playing around their hometown of San Antonio. This performance, recorded October 14, 1975, came after Doug had temporarily retired the Sir Douglas name, but features original member Augie Meyer along with musical compadres Martin Steitle, John Barber, Steve McDaniels and Harry Hess.

Tearoom consists of footage shot by the police in the course of a crackdown on public sex in the American Midwest. In the summer of 1962, the Mansfield, Ohio Police Department photographed men in a restroom under the main square of the city. The cameramen hid in a closet and watched the clandestine activities through a two-way mirror. The film they shot was used in court as evidence against the defendants, all of whom were found guilty of sodomy, which at that time carried a mandatory minimum sentence of one year in the state penitentiary. The original surveillance footage shot by the police came into the possession of director William E. Jones while he was researching this case for a documentary project. The unedited scenes of ordinary men of various races and classes meeting to have sex were so powerful that the director decided to present the footage with a minimum of intervention.

While conducting a humanitarian experiment, a group of filmmakers attempt to help two homeless alcoholics get their lives back together. After the series is unceremoniously cancelled, the question remains of how far they're willing to go to help.

Impressions of Bieji is a film based on the legendary stories of ethnic minorities in Yunnan. The film unfolds the story of a young French man tracing the footprints left by his grandfather in China in his early years, with old photos and a yellowed diary, making him seem to see the life and love of the Yi people along the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway during the Republic of China. The story is intertwined between the past and the present, and the plot is legendary. The whole film is full of magnificent natural scenery and strong ethnic minority customs.

The Disappointment: Or, The Force of Credulity is a documentary about the search for four lost treasures buried on a single farm in Missouri. These treasures include a Spanish explorer's gold, silver from the Civil War, mysterious stone carvings, lost texts, and a wife's attempt to heal her husband and protect herself and her children. Part personal documentary and part historical essay, The Disappointment traces the patterns of cultural forgetting etched in a Midwestern landscape.

Václav Neumann leads the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and Prague Philharmonic Choir, with soloists Gabriela Be?a?ková, Anne Gjevang, Günther Neumann, and Arthur Korn. 1975. The journalist Shintaro, who is looking for his father, finds himself on an island with a group of people he hardly knows. Their guide captain Yamada, leaves Shintaro and his fellow-travelers on the island where they are captured by a mad soldier. All attempts to explain things to him are useless. The crazy warrior is sure that the Second world war is till going on. After a month on the island under the command of the nutty soldier they start believing in it themselves. Soon they get the guns and set to work, strengthening their lines, getting ready for the attack of an unknown enemy.
