A high school clique spends a long weekend at a secluded home in the woods. Secret Nuremberg Notebooks Documentary from 2006 by Jean-Charles Deniau and Dominique Tibi . We have already seen the famous photos of the Nuremberg trials. But until now, no one has taken us into the defendants' prison cells and personal thoughts. The 34-year-old Jewish psychiatrist Leon Goldensohn spent six months in the company of four of the most notorious Nazi war criminals. His unique and recently rediscovered notes allows us for the first time get a glimpse of Hermann Goering, Rudolf Hess, Hans Franck and Julius Streicher's life. The interviews deal with ever-topical questions such as: What are the psychological mechanisms underlying human evil? The film also features dramatic reconstructions of the key events of World War II.

The documentary begins with a dramatised reconstruction of the sea voyage by Hartog Simon Pos and his brother Matthijs in the year 1774. They were on their way to Suriname. Nearly two hundred years later, Diego Pos made a trip in the opposite direction: he was the last Pos to leave Suriname. In Ongewisse tijd, Pos returns to Suriname in search of the history of his Jewish family and of Suriname Jews in general. He happens upon unexpected relatives, like Simon Matthijs, who was born out of a slave in the eighteenth century. The search and encounters with various representatives of Jewish communities in Suriname run synchronous with the dramatised story of the brothers Hartog Simon and Matthijs, whose initially close relationship was seriously dampened by love affairs.

The DVD was recorded July 14 and 15, 2006, at the historic Cain's Ballroom and Dancehall in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in front of sold-out crowds. This showcases the band's staggering musicianship and and off-the-charts energy level.
