No Place in Anywhere can deal with many issues. It is a personal journey through image and time. It is the portrait of the "La Matriz" neighborhood in Valparaíso. It is the encounter between reality and fiction. It is the constant search to find a truth within the documentary. It is a musical rehearsal. It is the constant preparation of a documentary. It is a documentary of questions more than answers. A silent face, an empty road, a winter landscape, the wind moving the leaves of a tree, a wall, the sea, the street of a neighborhood, all of them intend to "create through the record" a unique truth for each viewer.

After the death and resurrection of Jesus, His followers dedicated themselves to spreading His message throughout the land. Now you can share this uplifting story with your entire family. The Apostles begins with a miracle. Peter, having been filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, heals a man who has been crippled since birth. The crowd that witnesses the miracle is amazed. But Peter reminds them that he performed this wondrous act for one reason only-to glorify Jesus' name. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that Peter and the other Apostles are in great danger. The religious authorities see them as a serious threat. And many of them are, indeed, persecuted. At the same time, however, some of the persecutors are themselves converted. Among them is a man who will eventually become the most important Apostle of all.

The film does not describe, rather it observes, in a distant manner, the world of Martin, a seventeen year old who feels he doesn’t belong anywhere, not at home, school, nor with his friends or members of his rock band. In search of some happiness, Martin takes off to the coastal town of Mar de Plata, where his older brother lives. Unglamorous, yet enchantingly addictive and refreshingly genuine, Acuña paints a confused and uncomfortable world, and makes us want revisit it over and over again.

Ankoku Butoh is a style of avant-garde dance that established itself in the counter culture experimental arts scene of post WWII Japan. The dance form is thought to have been founded by Tatsumi Hijikata, who both created and performed in butoh pieces from the late 1950’s - through the early 1970’s. In butoh, the style of movement is extremely stylized and deliberate, vacillating between slow and sharp, expressing feelings of dread, sexualization, violence, calmness, birth and “creatureness” among other things. This performance of Summer Storm was originally recorded in 1973 at Westside Auditorium, Kyoto University, Japan, and was Hijikata’s last public performance before his death in 1986 with Butoh of Dark Spirit School. Video version produced in 2003.

“The Antman” is a lovingly-made but sluggish monster-movie parody, done with German-speaking actors on a sparse soundstage standing in for 1950s Mexico. Promising concept is bolstered by colorful performances by Gotz Otto and Lars Rudolph, and the filmmakers have fun with pic’s look, right down to tacky lighting worthy of Roger Corman. But Marc Meyer’s script isn’t fast or funny enough to keep pace with energetic visuals. The first in a projected series of B-movie homages grouped as “Planet B,” the producers might want to call in Joe Dante to supervise the rest, as “Antman” seems unlikely to crawl very far beyond its native borders

There are very few artists who make their mark to the same degree as Engelbert Humperdinck. His incredible live performances, such as the one captured here at the Forum in Los Angeles, have made him a star across the globe, from Las Vegas to the London Palladium. Few can equal the passion and commitment delivered by Humperdinck. The comparisons are drawn only with the very best - Elvis, Tony Bennett, Tom Jones, but Humperdinck with his distinctive style, sense of humour and genuine affection for his audience shows he is more than worthy of such rarefied status.
