Interviewees and experts discuss the benefits of this important transition by examining the six stages of coming to terms with one’s sexual identity. They also look at the dangers of running away from sexual self-acceptance—such as alcoholism, drug abuse, and suicide—and how finding support can greatly assist the process.

This documentary is about the rangers who serve in the Lake Urmia area. They give water to local animals such as deer and help birds that fall into the water and cover their body with salt crystals. One of the rangers stays on an island in the middle of the lake and is unable to move his boat due to the high salt water. A boat comes to his aid at night. The birds of this lake are extinct due to the high salt content of the water.

A handheld camera trails a woman as she hikes up the Matterhorn. Suspense rises as she ascends, accompanied by a horror movie soundtrack. The shaky camera offers no reverse shots, implying the presence of an imminent threat. Drawing on the trope of the first-person "killer POV" as identified by film theory, the lack of camera attribution implicates the viewer as the potential stalker. Additionally inspired by Edmund Burke's writing on the terror-provoking quality of the sublime, the soundtrack intensifies in volume each time the camera pans out across the majestic, nearly unfathomable landscape. Though alpine climaxes come into view, the unrelenting sound never allows tension to be released.

Episodic in nature, Curious About Existence reacts ultimately against an uninspired but prevailing acceptance of moral terms. It begins with a song of worship, an ode to the looming nastiness of our organic existence. A celebration of disorder and entropy, the opening song seems borne of a curiosity about the possibilities of joy and freedom. In a more lighthearted segment, a squirrel and beaver converse about how everybody feels bad a lot of the time, which is compounded by the stupid things they do as a result. By enjoying the spectacle of the river creatures’ conversation, we are guided through another chapter of anxiety about shame with the opportunity for impunity.

Bhedako Oon Jasto, or Like Sheep's Wool, an hour long documentary, is named after the song he first heard in a highland village north of Kathmandu. It is his deeply personal odyssey in search of the elusive tune. For eight long years, Wagle would sing Bhedako Oon Jasto - to his friends, and then singers and musicians, to check if they were familiar with the tune, but to no avail. Early this year, Wagle has his calls answered. Wagle sings the song to Amrit Gurung of Nepathya. Amrit shows interest to sing the song, and requests Wagle to give him the lyrics in writing. Wagle puts forward a clause - he tells Amrit - " Both you and me have to revisit the place where I heard this song.

A Chinese family from a poor rural village in Fujian Province continues to bring other family members to Japan via smuggling and bigamous marriages. Undeterred by the uncertainty of their status as illegal immigrants, they continue to send money to their extended family waiting back home. They experience sudden illness, arrests, and deception by Japanese. They manage to scrape by running a beauty parlor and an internet café, but language and visa problems make life difficult. At their ancestral home in China, their family waits for them with mixed feelings. The director, a student from China, offers us a glimpse of the unknown corners of the international city of Tokyo.

The second part of a series of attempts to give concrete form to the notion of intersticiality, this videotape addresses issues of nationalism and the nation-state, temporal polarities, alienation, the rejection and construction of political identities, ethnofascism, the body as object and metaphor, agents, monsters and abjection, subjective affinities, and the objectivity of trust.
