Their epic feats range from the first ascent of El Capitan, which took 45 days over a year and a half, to today's speed climbers who complete the same route in under three hours.

A painter from Turin, Stefano Faenza, arrives in Reggio Calabria on the occasion of a personal exhibition organized in his honor in Locride. Behind this initiative there is a schoolmate of his, Gino Jacona, today councillor to the culture. In 1988, the Wyrick family moves into a new home, which was mysteriously abandoned by the previous owners. Shortly afterward, their four-year-old daughter Heidi begins spending time with an imaginary friend, a kindly old man named Mr. Gordy. Several months later, Heidi is frightened by the appearance of a man at the front door.

This entertaining real action, puppets movie narrates the adventures of a stouthearted boy who is kidnapped by two bandits. During the abduction, he will help a girl, he meets, who has been held prisoner in her room for her entire life. After failing a course for several times, Kolah Ghermezi finally passes it and enters a higher level. He returns home and happily shows his marks to Aghaye Mojri and Narges; who are supposed to be his parents now. Aghaye Mojri promises to buy a bicycle for him as a gift. However, he does not have adequate money to buy that. The news of Kolah Ghermezi’s success is broadcasted on TV, then his uncle calls him and invites all of them to his luxurious house. He gives a nice and huge bicycle to Kolah Ghermezi as a gift.

The film is dedicated to the history of the execution of the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee.

A performer finds a trunk full of puppets which he decides to use for his show. But he slowly begins to suspect that the puppets are cursed.

Terra Incognita is a multi-plane cut out animation made from photocopies of 19th century illustrations made during the race to the poles and drawings by Eric Leiser. For the puppet performance it was flat-rod puppets on a proscenium stage with a screen behind them, onto which the animation Terra Incognita is projected. Many of the sea monster puppets and ships performed in sync with the animated ones, along with splashes of water and powdered chalk to mimic snowfall. These techniques came from my time studying puppet theater in Prague, in 2002, and learning from Svankmajer and Svankmajerova. It was a lot of fun to both animate and to perform live with Jeffrey's wonder score. At the same time the film comments on the colonial race to claim the Arctic by various countries—a race that, in a sense, is still going on today, but this time again for oil—and the murders of the Inuit people who had inhabited the land for millennia.

But when Amir, a young man from a well-off family, sets his sights on Taraneh and courts her with an intensity that borders on stalking, her well-ordered life spirals into chaos.

A mindless comedy movie which starts with kidnapping of two grooms on their wedding day by the brides and somehow ends with a spoof on Veerappan. Two unattractive grooms are married to two sisters. The guys get henpecked and they don't have a happy marriage. Enters Shakalaka baby who attracts both the grooms and their father in law. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.

Ambitious young script writer Igor Sullivan, who just lost his lover, concentrates on a romantic comedy. He gets advice from seasoned professional James Ford, who explains the `fomula` way, while Igo keeps insisting on artistic input of his own. Thus they draft piece by piece, often after dropping or amending the first version, a (not quite) standard triangle. It involves Internet firm colleagues Patrick, the good boy, and his womanizing buddy Mark Gibson, the vixen being the firm`s new consultant Jennifer.

A summery, boozy road movie in which Leo aimlessly drives a group of aging teddy bears through the Finnish countryside in a red Cadillac. The film centers on the bromance of middle-aged men, booze, and pizza, which they decide to order to their moving car. Not even a Russian truck driver, Stakes' alcohol recommendations, or the police can stop this gang.

Hamid Afshari rushes to the hospital to inquire about his state of health. Roya, the nurse who informs her (Fatemeh Motamed-Arya), seems very welcoming and helpful. Finding her to his liking, Hamid feels very quickly in love with her...

In 1995 three Puerto Rican teenagers enter an apartment where they are shot many times by plain clothes NYPD officers. Two of the teenagers die and one is wounded. The officers claim the men had come to rob the tenants of the apartment but one of the boy's mothers investigates the shooting after the Grand Jury find everything was fine. The Civilian Compliant Review Board CCRB also pick up her complaint and find proof of a shoddy investigation, over-looked facts and an attempt to cover up anything that would make the NYPD look bad that goes the whole way to Mayor Giuliani himself.

In this 1999 documentary, which took three years to shoot, director Jan Mudra reveals Hapka's obsession with creativity, his incredible energy, and his abundance of ideas. He recalls his family background, his studies at the acting conservatory, and his first roles in Czech films. Petr Hapka began his career as a composer in the 1960s. Even then, he began writing for Hana Hegerová, with whom, as he says, he entered into a musical marriage that continues to this day. In the film, his three main lyricists—Petr Rada, Zdeněk Rytíř, and Michal Horáček—recall their work with Hapka. Many viewers may be surprised to learn that Petr Hapka also composed the music for three famous plays by the Divadlo Za branou theater: Provaz o jednom konci (A Rope with One End), Zelený papoušek (The Green Parrot), and Hodina lásky (The Hour of Love), as recalled in the film by director Otomar Krejča. He also composed the music for several films.
