On June 9, 1997, Ben Folds Five was one of the first guests to appear on a new series called Sessions at West 54th. Because of the 1/2 hour time constraint of the show, only a handful of the recorded tracks made it to air. The DVD contains the entire performance which, for the most part, includes tracks from their just released album, Whatever and Ever Amen. The DVD includes Spare Reels, a 45 minute film which contains live performances and clips of the band in various and random situations. It also contains clips of Ben Folds Five during the studio sessions for their then upcoming album, The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner.

Four Neapolitan and a Tunisian fishermen risk their lives by fishing in waters not far from Sicily. Before long, the camorra learns of their actions, and their licenses to fish the local waters are revoked. With nowhere to turn, they head back to North African waters, but the behavior of one member of the crew starts to endanger the others on board. The partially improvised dialogue by the cast of mostly untrained actors is delivered in the local Neapolitan dialect, which lends great authenticity to the story.

While still living in Amsterdam under his birth name 'Ian Kerkhof,' Aryan Kaganof co-penned the script for his friends Victor Nieuwenhuijs and Maartje Seyferth's debut feature Venus in Furs (1995), which is undoubtedly the most faithful cinematic adaptation of the S&M-themed Leopold von Sacher-Masoch novella of the same name. A number of years later after moving back to his homeland of South Africa, Kaganof directed his own tribute to Sacher-Masoch's classic work.

Senka is a young and inexperienced girl who, unwittingly, in his new world, the world of drug addiction and pulled his best friend.

A natural companion piece to Lovesong 3, this (also hand-painted) work counterbalances the rhythmic irregularities and, one might say, temporal despairs with a steadiness of beat, creating an absolute progression of formal feeling and meaning. The sense of line drawings, and consequent pictorial representation has given way to shape-in-space composed of only four colors: Lavender, Purple, Green, and Turquoise. Their dance with the darkness suggests an inter-action of bodies. At end there's a flare to a field of white within which a very tiny shape (almost like lips) pulses and finally flickers out.

Set in a prison, this fifth installment of the Mahjong Horoki series follows amateur gambler Tetsu and his companion An, both jailed after a confrontation with a death-row inmate. There, a warden secretly brings a mahjong table into the cell, leading to high-stakes games where prisoners wager meals and status to survive.
