Numerous filmmakers and video artists have attempted, with varying success, to produce visual representations of memories. The eye of memory does not see things in the same way as the physical eye, and many artists have come to regret this difference. Aravena Abughosh's attempt belongs to the category of successes. He has managed to account for the fragmentary and associative character of memory; for the vague emerging and dissolving of images, and even for the feelings that are so intrinsically linked to it.

Midnight cowpoke scrounges the streets of Mike Harris' mean megatropolis, looking for a good time or just a bite to eat. "Hard time living, too young to die. Lord, lord, lord: hard times town."

Chain Reaction is a kind of independent thinking itself. Since everyone has his or her own experience and values, I call the world of Chain Reaction “a view of schizophrenia”. Most of the images of the video surpass, as well as imitate daily life experience absurdly. The film is to analyze and oppose evil by the way of using the power of evil inside human nature. Chain Reaction is an allegory of evil but without the function of salvation like the other allegories.

An American ambassador and his family move into an old castle. They learn from the help that Simon, a man suffering for 300 years due to a heavy sin he committed, resides in the castle. The Americans are quite lighthearted and unfazed by the situation. The father gives the ghost a gift, the boys pillow fight and play tricks on him, and the daughter Virginia is kind and forgiving with him. The ghost is quite surprised because he's used to haunting and people hating him.

A game between what you hear and what you see, where the baroque of Bach and the baroque of Minas Gerais, in Brazil, are performed as dance. The choreography aspires to what is above, and the music, to what is inside Bach's scores and which Marco Antônio Guimarães, the composer, helps us discover. Among blue, gold and dark, a dance that celebrates the architecture of life: a continuous flow from where surprising kinetic constructions emerge.

When Bach was in the service of Prince Leopold in Coethen, he had his own orchestra and was contracted to compose a great deal of instrumental music. This gave him an opportunity to try new techniques and to develop his own instrumental style. The six Brandenburg Concertos belongs to these masterpieces for a small ensemble. This joyously infectious performance of these famous landmarks in the history of music by the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra demonstrates both the musical satisfaction and the high professional standard that can be reached with period instruments. The performance was given in the Bach Anniversary Year 2000 – 250 years after his death – in the elegant Hall of Mirrors at Coethen Castle.

In the spirit of Jane Goodall's work with chimps, Explorer joins primatologist Magdalena Bermejo as she conducts groundbreaking research of the western lowland gorilla in its natural environment. Skilled local trackers help Bermejo and Illera look for clues in crushed leaves, half-eaten plant stems, and dung. The team is finally rewarded in an area less than two miles outside of Lossi, surrounded with ancestral eyes peering from the forest. Bermejo focuses her study on a magnificent 350-pound male she names Apollo and his family. The musical "Falco meets Amadeus" is about two exceptional figures in music history, namely Falco and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Mozart and Falco were great geniuses who worked to the point of self-destruction. Falco is not the big superstar, but a staged character - Mozart is portrayed in the musical as a musical genius with a soulmate. The musical looks behind the scenes of show business, which not only has its good (acclaimed performances) but also bad sides. Furthermore, the story is largely based on motifs from the classic Faust story (pact with the devil, fallen girl, etc.).

Inside the house behind a wall, through a hole in the wall, is a room filled with demonic painted symbols and a hanged dead black cat. These findings are real. Upon reading a demon passage, Jason the leader of the teens discovers his failed attempt to draw out a demonic presence was not such a failure after all.

Baby Santa's Music Box, better known simply as Baby Santa, is the 6th Baby Einstein video in the series to be released. It takes toddlers on a journey through winter holidays through music and visuals that include nature and Christmas ornaments. It was released on November 1, 2000, just in time for the holiday season. The DVD was later released in late 2001. It was last re-released in Late-2004, with many alterations.

Part three of a cycle of digital video works I'm beginning to call-after Bataille-«Theory of religion, theory of ecstasy.» The other two parts are Mirror and The Zapruder Footage.... This tape is inspired by the 11th century Sufi mystical text The Conference of the Birds. It is a text which explores transparency and opacity, multiplicity and unity, narrative and insight, the mundane and the ecstatic. I include a postscript from the text which I included at the end of the tape perhaps best responds to the attempt to parse it: «Seek the trunk of the tree and do not worry whether the branches do or do not exist.»

The documentary entitled 'Janez Puhar's Lost Formula' introduces the Slovenian inventor of glass-plate photography from the point of view of a foreign observer, that of Scotsman Robin Crichton, who wonders how and why we honour him, since he is virtually unknown in the Western world. Robin decides to single-handedly look into these Slovenian beliefs. Puhar claims that for the light-sensitive matter he used mercury, sulfur, iodine and possibly varnish, which he applied in the end to protect the emulsion. But his real formula has never been brought to light anywhere. Indeed, the whole world knows that no one has used Puhar's ingredients to make photographs, because the said three elements are not sensitive to light - neither separately nor together as a compound. Robin therefore arrives at the key question: are the four Puhar originals, which currently exist around the world, real or are they just a mistake made by Slovenian historians and museum specialists?
