CROSSING CHASMS is a documentary about Jennifer Arndt, a Korean adoptee, who returns to her birth country seeking answers to the complex questions surrounding her adoption. In her search to define her identity, she walks through her past to understand the present. On this journey she meets other Korean adoptees who share their experiences as she tries to track down her own biological family. Through her own story and the testimonies of seven other adoptees, we learn about the complex issues facing Korean adoptees through their own voices.

The story tells about an older adult, who presents some health problem related to her mobility and for which she has to travel to the hospital to do rehabilitation tasks, in the course of that, somewhat strange and repetitive situations happen to her, and also he has to deal with his family's indifference to such matters.

Passing On, a lyrical, typically confessional effort that encapsulates what's preceded it. Hoolboom's dance with death — a motif acknowledged in the medieval woodcut segues between segments — resonates in double-exposed shots of anonymous people simply crossing a square, some of them "real," others shown as faint, literal "ghosts" coexisting with those still in the temporal present. In voiceover Hoolboom talks about the "conspiracy of chromosomes" that make up the human being, but the phrase is ironic; for him, nothing is more real, or human, or felt, than what that conspiracy has created.

You can see the woman sitting still and the landscape in turn. In this film, the character is not the heroine, and is equated with the landscape. As the subject is equated with the existence of a film too, the difference of time each having is presented in this film.

Les Jarret provides excellent narration to teaching the alphabet using words in and about trains. Each letter of the alphabet has several words associated with train functions that are narrated. Occasionally the narrator is assisted by a classroom of young children. An entertaining video for toddlers and young kids learning their alphabet.

In the winter of 1998, the earth was overrun by many millennium prophets, whilst the suburbanites lived their suburban lives. Underground, artists and other vagabonds flourished, their activities illuminated by a dark and pure underground sky.

Old West scenery and Native American settings are painstakingly replicated. The part of our heroine, after which the town took its name, is believably portrayed by the founder's actual great grand-daughter. The video Quest for History, is a quest for self knowledge. This presentation is a sampler of a much larger story which opens avenues for further research. It brings together personal stories, interviews, history, and memories. These fragments of interwoven conversations of aunts, uncles, sisters and cousins reveal their common link to two brothers who, in the 19th century, went in search of a transition from slave legacy to effectuate self-sufficiency. Through capturing the oral stories and weaving them together with her personal experience of life and travel the video expresses the tapestry of identity of one person and yet this work transfers to the viewer, a shared experience.

At the beginning of the fifties, the huge storm that threatened Cuba was unpredictable.

Documentary about the glass art show "Chihuly Over Venice."

Temenos means a sacred site or ritual precinct. Temenos, the film, explores the phenomenon of visionary experiences. In the film we see locations where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared, including Lourdes, Fatima and Medjugorje in Bosnia & Herzegovina where the visions continue. Nina Danino films the landscapes that have witnessed these transcendental appearances, imbuing them with a sense of the sacred.

Homo Sapiens 1900 is a 1998 documentary directed by Peter Cohen, about various eugenics methods that were in practice in Europe during the first part of the 20th century. Eugenics is to be the scientific credo of the 20th century. The man credited with its invention, Francis Galton, says it is based on the concept that the evolution of man is crippled by the ill-conceived - those unfit to breed. The study of eugenics thus would concern itself with distinguishing the weed from the good flowers.

"Stone-White Man" is an epic documentary in compact form which tells the life story of Viennese artist Richard Erdoes. Erdoes has chronicled the lives and resistance of Native Americans in the United States since the 1950s.
