Deemed "too ambient for broadcast" by MTV's AMP, Thaemlitz' first video "Silent Passability (Ride to the Countryside)" contrasts cinematic footage from drag performances in upstate New York with highly processed digital audio from his CD "Couture Cosmetique" (US: Caipirinha/Japan: Daisyworld, 1997). Thaemlitz is known for her fusion of computer synthesis techniques with non-essentialist transgenderism as two methodoligies which appropriate and critically recontextualize cultural signifiers, whether they be audio sources or gender constructs. The audio for "Silent Passability" deals with fears of violence while travelling in 'passable' drag between safe zones, and Thaemlitz' unsettling compulsion to remain silent in such circumstances so as to avoid confrontation. Antithetically beatific images from the transgendered stage question posturing as a means for alieviating and/or concealing such oppressive circumstances.

The filming of Mnouchkine's "Molière" comes to an end and the entire troupe of the Soleil learns that the film has been selected for the Cannes Festival. Ferdinand, a neophyte star, is going to come up against the festival's fauna and, finally, free himself from Ariane's grip and take his freedom as an adult actor.

Towards the end of the 1940s, in the midst of the struggle against Spanish colonialism, in the village of Aouchtam, lived the family of El Hadj, an old man suffering from blindness. Fatliners is a bizarre comedy film about heel wrestlers travelling through time to ensure evil prevails.

This short exists only for one reason: I wanted to test the possibilities of the iris of a defective VHS camcorder that I had and the fading of the colors that resulted from VHS to VHS copies (this film is not black and white, it is faded color ). As I had no story to film, I improvised as an actor (Braun kept holding the camera for me), I walked from side to side, subtitled the whole thing with a poem I had written on and… Why not show the results of these experiences for everyone who is interested in seeing you.

In Ecuador, an uncontacted tribe called the Tageari are next in the firing line and when contact occurs, their health, their faith, their environment, their love - all the things that define their culture - are changed forever. Doug has helped three tribes secure and demark their ancestoral land, saved more than a million hectares of pristine rainforest in reserves and National Parks, and established sustainable agricultural projects in a nation devastated by slash and burn agriculture. This is the story of Doug Ferguson's work.

Knut'n (Bjorn Willenberg Andersen) comes home to the village on vacation with his wife Ingrid (Anne Krigsvoll) and daughters. He meets Atle (Jorgen Langhelle) "who have never achieved anything and still lives with his mother." Old conflicts and new jealousy comes up to the surface.

"Eyes of the Rainbow" deals with the life of Assata Shakur, the Black Panther and Black Liberation Army leader who escaped from prison and was given political asylum in Cuba, where she has lived for close to 15 years. In it we visit with Assata in Havana and she tells us about her history and her life in Cuba. This film is also about Assata's AfroCuban context, including the Yoruba Orisha Oya, goddess of the ancestors, of war, of the cemetery and of the rainbow.

A thief gets close to the owner of a publishing house to work inside his home and waits for the opportunity to broke into his safe. However, he backs down due to the owner's trust of him and cooperates with the police to catch the gang after they put pressure on him.
