"This is a film that I had wanted to make for many years. It was not until the summer of 1996 that I actually got it together and shot it. Again with the help of Steve Creson we packed up all our equipment and loaded on to a plane and flew to Arizona were we rented a car and drove around the desert for week and filmed everything that we thought looked interesting. This film is similar to the films in my urban landscapes series, only this film was shot in eye popping full color and there are no man made elements in this film at all. Lots of rock formations, colors, and shapes only things made my mother nature. This film also has a film score by RUBATO."

In 1997 it proved a suitably challenging environment for an event billed as the world's greatest adventure challenge - the Camel Trophy. Forty competitors from 20 nations gathered in the modern capital of Ulaanbaatar for the start of Camel '97. From there they took their Land Rover Discoverys over existing roads and tracks through a country of extremes - from the sub-zero temperatures of the northern mountains to the heat of the Gobi desert. After circumnavigating a country three times the size of France, the event finished in the ancient capital of Karakorum, home of Mongolia's largest Buddhist monastery. Along the way, the teams visited eight competition sites and also competed in mountain biking, kayaking, 4x4 driving and orienteering awards.

In the history of the Russian ballet theater, the name of Olga Spesivtseva occupies a place no less significant than the names of Anna Pavlova and Tamara Karsavina. The audience first saw her in 1913 as a beautiful young girl, gentle, captivating and timid, with huge eyes full of mystery. In the early twenties, this girl was a real idol of youth and a conqueror of Paris, and in the early nineties, after a long mental illness, she ended her days away from her homeland, in one of the nursing homes. A star and a victim of her time, a forced hermit and a prisoner of madness, her life is a tangle of glory and oblivion, her name is surrounded by an aura of mystery, delight and contempt...
