Ferhan Şensoy, a true wordsmith, plays the captain, and the ship's crew returns from a long voyage and sets sail for Turkey. When they see the state of the country, they decide to turn back, saying, "Take it, it's yours." Deeply troubled by the public's tendency to accept every new crisis as normal, Şensoy remarks, "In another country, the people would rise up and protest, but here, such things do not occur," and in his "Audience Logbook," he critiques the nation's issues using the vernacular of the people.

On 1 December 1942, a US bomber called Little Eva was returning to base after a bombing raid over New Guinea. The plane hit a tropical storm and crashed at Moonlight Creek in the southeast corner of the Gulf of Carpentaria, in Australia's far north. The events that followed were recorded both in the journal of an American survivor and in a spectacular corroboree created by the Yanyuwa people who searched for Little Eva and her crew.

The police are after Deeka, and he must get a hold of Eena and get him to confess to his crime, and therefore clear his name. But Eena is unwilling to confess, and runs away from Deeka. With the police on his tail, will Deeka be able to capture Eena, and will he be successful in getting him to agree to confess?
