Iowa City Bob is hearing voices from God telling him to sell truth about the used cars he's selling in the middle of nowhere. Is he having another breakdown? Like the one he had when he sold a record number of used cars in a year - he was awarded salesman of the year 9 years running. He lost his daughter - wife and stole and car - they found him buried naked on the side of the road ranting. Bob is trying for a comeback when a Snakegirl and Guitar Monte, street corner preachers, show up on the lot wanting to trade a boat for a Pontiac Trans AM - as any zealot car salesman will tell you - they don't take boats on trade. In the meantime his estranged daughter Turner shows up wanting to re-establish their relationship. Bob is hellbent on telling the truth about all the cars on his lot. And no one is prepared for the truth. Sell Truth becomes his sales pitch. And no one is ever going to be the same again.

Commissioned by MTV Networks, produced by Annalogue, and transmitted worldwide (unannounced) through 1993-94.’Conceived in the spirit of the 1971 pieces, TV Interruptions 93 were shot or post-produced using advanced colour video technology, electronic effects and a refinement gained over Hall’s 25 years work in time-based media. Taken together, they constitute a potted summary of Hall’s preoccupations in video and television, and perhaps of the progression of video art as a ‘genre’…

The fate of the heroine of the film Olga Glazatova. The viewer gets to know her in the last weeks before her release from the general regime colony, where she gave birth to a daughter at the age of 18. The way of life, customs, customs of the women's zone, in which the painfully familiar features of our "free" life manifest themselves, where Olya is so eager, make up the background of the heroine's portrait. The warm, kind intonation of the film awakens what we all lack so much – sympathy.
