Her women friends’ stories are woven into a lyrical, moving, complex and personal film on the nature of memory and of dreams.

A judge sentences an innocent villager to death for a murder he didn't commit. He then meets his lookalike who had actually committed the murder and is guilt ridden upon finding out he had sentenced the wrong man to death. Out of guilt, he sets out to make amends by sending the criminal back to the man's village in his place.

Big Fat Slenderella looks at dieting from the fat person's point of view. In this work, excerpts from documentary interviews with fat people are juxtaposed with fat animals in captivity by the inventive use of wipe effects. Commercials for products like The Poodle Diet Recipe Collection satirize the mainstream obsession with dieting and their fear of gaining weight. Despite the conventional wisdom dished out by medical practitioners, studies have shown that dieting simply does not work for 95% of the population. Why are we still encouraged to diet? Could it be profits and the fact that if someone is dieting, that's all they have energy for? The fat experts in Slenderella are all fat themselves, and tell stories of the many diets and medically administered amphetamine "cures" they have tried over the years.

This was an animated promotional video that Falcom commissioned for Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys game for PC Engine, to shop around to various production houses. This was done in hopes of getting it made into a full-scale animated series/movie/etc., but it never panned out.

Claiming Territory refers to the landscape of the male body - claimed by the woman's hand - and the landscape of war - claimed by soldiers victorious in their actions. In contrasting the sensuality of the male body and its ephemeral presence with the escalating chaos of war, it was as if I was constructing a memory out of something I had no experience of.

Perhaps seeking a father figure as a result of childhood abandonment, Michael, who's about 35, carries on with older men a mix of affairs, one-night stands, and casual sex in public toilets. Joe, from whom he has recently broken, abuses him; his latest flame, a police detective, ignores him. His and his twin Joey's birthday approaches, and it triggers memories of their childhood and their illnesses at age seven, leaving Michael a bad heart and retarding Joey's mental development. He buys a birthday present for Joey, but in his melancholy, arrives late after his brother is sleeping. His mother still mourns her husband's leaving. A crisis and resolution ensue.

This film shows divided Berlin in the 1950s and documents the period of the Cold War: with images of the most important politicians, previously unpublished footage of the demolition of the Berlin Palace and the construction of the Wall and dramatic scenes of the uprising in June 1953. The film also provides impressions of art and culture, everyday life and sport in a city with two political systems, whose division was sealed by the construction of the Wall in 1961 until its fall in 1989.
