Following on from the other documentaries 'The Hartnell Years' and 'The Troughton Years', which showcased rare surviving episodes from incomplete stories. There are no missing Pertwee episodes, so instead, using a similar format with interviews and clips, Jon Pertwee introduces full episodes from his favourite stories - "Inferno" (episode 7), "The Frontier in Space" (final episode) and Pertwee's personal favourite, the final episode of "The Daemons".

11th century. Descended from the aristocracy, Alexis flees a world dominated by money and strength. The young man, in love with justice and freedom, sets off on the roads to discover the world, abandoning his wife and family.

MONEY MAN is a documentary film about an artist, J. S. G. Boggs, who draws money. Boggs draws his "notes" (as he calls them) with the same face as regular U.S. currency with his thumbprint on the back. He goes around trying to sell his notes to people in exchange for goods and services.

Part of the COI's infamous "Drinking And Driving Wrecks Lives" campaign which ran between 1987 and 1997. We see a single, uninterrupted shot but this time it's of a young woman laying on the asphalt after being hit by a drunk driver. As the camera pans slowly away from her eyes (one of which is dilated, an indicator of severe brain trauma) we see paramedics trying to resuscitate her as she lays lifeless in a pool of her own blood. Played over the footage is the audio of the drunk driver who caused the accident being quizzed by a police officer, desperately pleading for her to "be alright" – though it appears that the paramedics' attempts to resuscitate her continue to be futile.

A lonely, defenseless, unsettled man meets a beautiful gypsy woman and falls in love with her. Having left the service, having left home, he sticks to the camp, but even here he finds neither home nor love — only pity. So he remains a "gadjo" for everyone, a stranger.

Grandfather and grandson live in one apartment. Grandson is a student, and grandfather is a former security officer who spent time in the camps. Out of love for his grandfather, the grandson preserves the situation of perpetual interrogation, inviting “clients” from time to time ...

The kidnapping of Brunhild from Iceland and why Hagen von Tronje became Siegfried's mortal enemy. And of course Gunther's betrayal of Siegfried. And one question Alberich still has to this day: what really happened to the treasure of the Nibelung? Is he still lying on the bottom of the Rhine?

Henryk Greenberg is a Polish-born American who lost much of his family in the Holocaust. Certain of the location where his father and younger brother were murdered, Greenberg returns to find most of his former neighbors predictably claiming foggy memories at first; but soon their recollections come more easily.

Poland, 1991. Two elderly political refugees, Demosthenes and Argyris, take the train from the coal mining region to the cemetery where the former's wife and the latter's mother are buried. Stuck in a cramped train carriage because of the rain, they begin to talk about their lives in exile. One has decided to return to his homeland, but the other seems hesitant. They speak candidly, revealing their sad loneliness and fears for the future, trying to share their feelings and their deepest pain.

Bressane considers this work of poetry the Portuguese Finnegan's Wake. The video is a disorganized system of images: an exploration of colors, quotes and sudden inspirations created by the words. A sequence of epiphanies, rigorous in their images. The films cited act as cinematographic scenery, conferring a sense of drama to the movements of the actresses and the readings of the poems.

Set in the late 1980s, this critically acclaimed indie classic from 1992 portrays a gritty side of gay life in Los Angeles. Ethan (Paul Marius), a 27-year-old photographer, believes he has no need for love or commitments, and is living his life amidst one-night stands. Ethan is coaxed by his "best buddy" Dennis (Jason Adams) into attending a reunion of college friends and lovers at a Palm Springs hideaway. What is supposed to be a restful vacation turns into a round of hard drinking and cruel sexual games. By the end of the "vacation," Ethan feels a need for new friends and returns to Los Angeles. Confronting his troubled family life, he calls his father - who doesn't want anything to do with him. In the end, Ethan realizes that he can make his own "family" with friends who will accept each other without judgments.

Adapted from the Max Frisch novel "Der Mensch erscheint im Holozän". It tells the story of an old man, isolated from the outside world in a little mountain village in Ticino, Switzerland, who fights against oblivion. From books that he has there he cuts out texts and images about geology and geological history to fix and arrange them on the walls of his cottage. Frisch adds these articles to his novel to assemble human history with individual decay.

Lou Reed was wise to chronicle a concert by his early-'80s band, featuring lead guitarist Robert Quine and bassist Fernando Saunders. Reed had used them on his trilogy of strong albums -- The Blue Mask, Legendary Hearts, and New Sensations -- released between 1982 and 1984. This 52-minute video, shot at the Capitol Theater in Passaic, NJ, in 1984, is a straightforward, no-frills live show. Reed, in black T-shirt and black leather pants, stands on-stage before a cityscape background and makes his way through a set that features both a selection of Velvet Underground songs, and his sole hit single, "Walk on the Wild Side," plus highlights from his three recent albums, notably such songs as "I Love You Suzanne." As such, the video makes a good Lou Reed career sampler.

Christian Pointner is so taken aback by her arrival that he pretends to be someone else, namely his fisherman's assistant Bonifaz. What Bonifaz now has to endure at the hands of the woman from Hamburg is beyond belief. Meanwhile, Christian has his eye on the pretty innkeeper's daughter Eva...

Jo-Jo is a young woman who hears voices.

After a series of ever more daring raids on laboratories and farms to rescue what they believe are mistreated animals, a radical commune of animal liberationists find themselves under a vicious attack by the very groups they had expected the least trouble from: other (more moderate) animal liberation groups. At the instigation of these more moderate groups, the only rich boy in the group is arrested, and he becomes subject to a smear campaign which has him bedding all the women in the group - a particularly damaging libel, because one of the girls is underage. This is the first film to be directed by Thomas Robsahm, the Norwegian son of the great Italian actor, Ugo Tognazzi (now deceased)

A drama about Aboriginal deaths occurring in police custody.

This dramatic production by the brilliant German stage director Harry Kupfer marked Daniel Barenboim's appointment as the artistic director of the Berlin State Opera in 1992. The cast is made up of the finest Wagnerian singers of the period, all of whom enjoyed substantial international careers. Barenboim's superb conducting reveals Wagner's multi-layered score in all it's glory.

A peasant couple argues over who does the harder work. They decide to switch roles: the wife goes to the fields, and the husband stays home to take care of the house. Very quickly, the man is overwhelmed by the domestic chores, and chaos ensues. This comic fable, inspired by a Russian folktale, pokes fun at gender stereotypes and reminds us that every job has its challenges.
