He could make a decent marriage with Ingrid, the daughter of a wealthy farmer, but he just dishonours her and runs away. Solvejg loves her with true love and then goes into the woods to hide, but Peer continues to run away to distant foreign lands...

Blücher is a 1988 Norwegian thriller film directed by Oddvar Bull Tuhus, starring Helge Jordal, Frank Krog and Hege Schøyen. Two North Sea divers who have recently been fired plan to vindicate themselves by a pioneer expedition to the wreckage of the German cruiser Blücher, at the bottom of the Oslofjord. The expedition soon becomes entangled in political intrigues.

Documentary on Japan-Korea relations

The film tells the story of a young man who moves to Istanbul and falls in love. Bekir, the son of the richest man in Çukurova, is pro-industrialization. He convinces his father to sell part of their land. He takes his cousin İskender with him and moves to Istanbul. He becomes a partner in his fellow countryman Serhat's factories and wins new contracts. He falls into conflict with Ferit, the factory owner who is his biggest rival in his new business, and Ferit's daughter Leyla. This conflict between the two companies ends when Bekir falls in love with Leyla. However, his clan will try to prevent this relationship.

In the summer of 1938, a month after the annexation of Austria and a year before the outbreak of war, the world's diplomats gather for a Refugee Conference in Evian, Switzerland. Here the Nazis send the highly respected Professor Benda, whose task it is to convince the diplomats to buy the lives of half a million Jews from Germany for ten million dollars. The author of the original piece, Hans Habe, himself attended the conference as a young journalist. In his novel, written a quarter of a century later, he explores the world's responsibility.

This film takes place in 1941. Five polish women of different ages, and an adopted Jewish girl, have been exiled to a small Bulgarian town on the Black Sea coast. They believe they have found a quiet refuge, but the war even reaches this remote place.

An elderly man with wings is blown off course during a tropical storm in this symbolic fantasy. The Old Man lands near a Caribbean island where a poor family gives him shelter in a chicken coop. Father Gonzaga is the skeptical priest who rushes to damn the creature. Soon the Old Man is the subject of curiosity seekers as Elisinda and Pelayo start charging admission. A traveling carnival of human oddities camps near the Old Man as people flock to see the show. The Old Man is reduced to being an unwanted pet, and after six years, he mends his wings and flies away. Nudity, simulated sex with a spider woman, and the ugliness of human exploitation definitely put this fantasy in a category not for children.
