A young man dressed as a samurai walks along a road lined with flowering cherry trees. Then, no longer in costume, he talks with the camerawoman who is filming him, he writes a date and an hour (May 1, 1985, 10 a.m.) on a blackboard and then bursts out in rage at the fact that his girlfriend, Hiromi, has been missing for three days. The unskilled, jack-of-all-trades András and his wife, Éva are put in jail for serial work-place thefts, -committed in order to try to ensure a normal living standard for his family - and for aggravated assault committed for self-defence, respectively. The action in the film takes place in a remote Bulgarian village. A certain conflict takes place between the new-coming young people and the old villages because of the water.

The protagonist is the ordinary and still blameless Evžen Macík, who one day, while waiting for his lover Maria, witnesses a robbery of a savings bank. The mounting pressure leads to Eugene starting to make mistakes.

Caparas.The term "Kamagong" in this film, refers to a pair of ebony sticks carved like blunted double edged swords. This weapons have a tradition of being used as an instrument of justice. The sticks themselves also represent benevolent qualities in the stick-fighter.

The television production Two Moon July was a multidisciplinary event that featured experimental video, film, visual art, performance and music in a theatrical framework. More than thirty artists participated in the program, which was produced for the Kitchen by Carlota Schoolman and directed by Tom Bowes. This production reflects a moment when art centers were experimenting with new modes of presenting the arts for television.
