Sometimes it's hard to understand what's important in life... The main character of the story, young Magda, works in a small textile factory in North Bohemia. She has no big goals in life, only girly ones. He wants to have fun and, most importantly, make some money fast and get married. In his new environment he has eternal conflicts with an old worker who hates sloppy work. Magda falls in love with a young railwayman, but love doesn't turn out as she hopes...

The preview format has always appealed to me: short, sweet and action packed. I decided to make my own to a fictitious film never to be made called 'Blondie + the Sheik,' starring Hester McMarkup and Angelo Q. Trashwad. –H. M.

The plot of the film starts at the beginning of the century, in the heyday of the Andrássy and Károlyi families, during the ever increasing crisis of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, and ends with the emigration of the Károlyi couple after the collapse of the 1918-19 revolutions. It tells the story of this historical period (war, revolution, take-over by the proletariat, dictatorship) from the view of an extremely wealthy lady, Andrássy Katinka. The authors tried to evoke the special story during which a strange and unique woman gets thoroughly involved in history through her love and at the same time keeps her own identity and self-governance.

It was produced to be exhibited at the “Personal Focus” (April 23-8, 1985), a three-minute, 8mm film screening held in Fukuoka. Digitized the original 8mm film that Matsumoto had been stored. The concept of this works is same as Delay Exposure, but in this film, it begins with a sequence that sets the aperture to excessive exposure. During a one to two-second-long shoot, the camera zooms in, the automatic exposure device also follows the movement of the image, and immediately lights the screen with proper exposure. This short sequence combined with a series of shots in the background, is processed.

Smolder’s voice is deadly monotone, and the short drones on towards a climax set in an old age home, and a room filled with men and women suffering from diverse ailments, or seniors trapped in some darkened mental gloom. - kqek.com

The euphoria of the French Peugeot team, which was expected to remain sky-high after Ari Vatanen's soar-away success in Sweden, received a severe setback when the Finn went out of the 1985 Portuguese rally. But all was not lost. Late leader Walter Rohrl also hit problems in his Audi leaving Peugeot back-up Timo Salonen to score a fine win and take the Championship lead. Perhaps though, the real surprise was the defeat of the Audis by the consistent Jolly Club Lancia Rally driven by Massimo Biasion. Once again, the drama wasn't confined only to the drivers. Close-quarters camera footage vividly illustrates the 'enthusiasm' of the excited crowd, clamouring to get as close as possible to the action!

The plant is padded and bounces, the heart is padded and drops. Objects fill the lead roles: swaying plants with succulent leaves; and vases, tall and lean like the torsos of young women. Metal and plastic foil, leather straps and piles of flour, enigmatic symbols and garishimages, all accompanied by shrill music and a tumult of voices, mechanical clattering, angry snorting and the cracking of a whip.
