So, the Sultan gets all the baby boys born on the same day are killed and only Kadir is saved. Kadir and Leyla grow up together. Leyla wants to marry him but the Sultan refuses this idea. He orders Kadir to be killed, yet Kadir survives fatally wounded. Leyla finds Kadir's place where he is kept as a prisoner. As they escape they get caught. Leyla dies and Kadir who has lost her loved one goes to the desert with the image of Leyla alive in his heart.

Boys and Girls is a 1983 Canadian short film directed by Don McBrearty. It is based on Alice Munro's short story of the same name, written in 1968. It is a coming of age story about a girl growing up on a farm having to accept that in her lifetime she will always be considered "only a girl." The film won an Oscar in 1984 for Best Short Subject.

In the early 1960s, nearly 20 years since the Second World War ended, an Italian general, accompanied by a priest who is also an Italian army colonel, is sent to Albania to locate and collect the bones of his countrymen who had died during the war and return them for burial in Italy. As they go deeper into the Albanian countryside they find they are being followed by another general who is looking for the bodies of German soldiers killed in World War II.

It cannot be said that the two actors Kurt Karlsen and Valdemar Hansen are particularly successful. The audience often has to ask them to stop, and financially things are not going well either, so they have to flee from their hotel bills. In a provincial town, Professor Andersen has just died, and when the two actors arrive in town at the same time, they are mistaken for the professor and his assistant and are given accommodation at one of the town's hotels as guests of honor. Then events take a turn for the worse. A bank director, a lawyer, and a contractor are very eager to see the late professor's invention continued, as the formula was lost when the professor died. Who will win in the end? The suspicious businessmen, the two actors, or two young people who love each other? And how many times will bank assistant Johansen lose his job?

"Peanuts" creator Charles Schulz appears on camera to introduce these adaptations of some of his favorite strips, which include Charlie Brown spending two unexpectedly pleasant weeks at summer camp; Peppermint Patty and Marcie taking jobs as golf caddies, with disastrous results; and Lucy trying to cure Linus' dependence on his security blanket.

In a strangely aloof and uninvolved story of incest, director Brigitte Sauriol takes a certain distance in her treatment of a couple with two daughters on a summer vacation in Quebec. Scenes with the father and older daughter soon reveal that an incestuous relationship has been going on for a long time, without the mother's knowledge. The older daughter tries to run away at one point and talk to a friend about her plight, but that does not turn out successfully. She begins to suspect her father is starting to violate her sister as well. When the mother accidentally catches her husband with the younger daughter, she reacts with anger, but after her husband promises to reform, she calms down and eventually takes his side against her daughters.

Miller’s daughter Zuzanka Vojířová, betrothed to Ondřej Zachar, hesitates before marriage when Lord Peter Vok of Rožmberk invites her to his castle. There she bears his son Petříček, but his wife hides the child. After Vok’s death in battle, Zuzanka is expelled and lives as a beggar, reunited with her son and former fiancé, finding solace in the continuation of the Rožmberk lineage.

Gal Costa performed at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in São Paulo for four consecutive nights. The "Baby Gal" special aired on Rede Globo on December 16, 1983, and served as the basis for promoting the self-titled LP, which would only be released a week after this year-end special.
