The dalang's daughter as she remembers the summer before she left home, and the boy she left behind. He is an apprentice to her father and wants to become the shadow master for his generation. By contrast, his brother wants girls, motorcycles, and money. The film follows the two brothers as each attempts to realize his dream.

Starting from May 30, 1979, Imai took a Polaroid photograph of himself every day, holding a photograph of himself taken a day before in his hand. Initially began as a simple action to replace the practice of writing a diary (which he found difficult to continue), Imai has been able to continue this daily action to this day and plans to continue it until the end of his life. In this work, Imai’s daily photographs that he had taken from 1979 to 2004 are sped up to appear like a moving image, akin to an animation.

The late Maria Klonaris, who sadly passed away in the begining of 2014, with co-author Katerina Thomadaki, was responsible for some of the most radical womens' liberationist and transgender films and art ever created. Of Greek origin but based in Paris, Klonaris and Thomadaki were founders of the Cinema of the Body, a profound investigative practice into gender and bodily identity.

Dr. Han, Cheol-i, and Young-i then set off to find Dr. Jo.

Here the codes are both amplified and distanced by an expressionist plastic that for the first time perhaps in Expressionism, takes humor into account. Some very close-ups of flowers, insects, are reminiscent of the prose of a Caillois that I did not know until this film equivalent cinema. There is a double movement in this film. At the same time, a sort of restraint of the plans and a bulimia, a frenzy to film, perhaps this is what mainly troubles us and takes us into a way of seeing that was unknown to us.
