Documentary on famous Brazilian actresses, female directors and the role of women in Brazilian film history.

Six women from three generations of one family live in an old villa on the outskirts of a provincial Polish town. All of them have lost their husbands; one is divorced, the others are widows. The women live on their memories, raving about the old days or looking back bitterly on a lost life. The doted center of this isolated women's world is the old grandmother, whose wise kindness determines the atmosphere of the house. Joanna Nielewicz returned to the family circle just a few months ago, after the death of her husband, who was respected by all for his particularly high moral standards. Since his death, Joanna has been tormented by a guilt that she finally confesses to her grandmother: once during her marriage, she was unfaithful to her husband. One day, the surprise visit of a young girl brings unrest to the villa. Despite the women's resistance, she manages to get through to Joanna and reveal that she is the illegitimate daughter of her late husband.

Today, the red dress is a powerful symbol recognizing over 1000 missing and murdered Indigenous women in Canada.

Semi-fictitious biopic of Finnish poet Eino Leino, made with a large budget to celebrate the 100th anniversary of his birth. The film concentrates on his relationships with first wife Freya Schoultz and later muse, poetess L. Onerva. His friends include equally central figures of the Finnish cultural scene in the early 1900s, such as painters Halonen and Gallén-Kallela, and composer Sibelius.

After the Mistress of the Crane (Doris Lung Chun Erh) finds a valuable piece of jewelry, she must fight off a band of thieves. Despite being blind, the Mistress uses her kung fu mastery to pummel the thieves (including Shek Tin), the notorious Lame Dragon (Barry Chan) and the Eight Step Killer (Lung Tuen-Hsiang). The story of how it turned out when a young lawyer tried to intellectually elevate a cute dancer from Prague's bohemian milieu. Journalist Šmíd introduces his long-time lover, a cheerful but simple girl Fanynka, to his friend, a young lawyer. He decides to take good care of the girl, buying her gifts and even furnishing her with a nice apartment. When he is called up to the army, he asks his friend Šmíd to look after Fanynka for him. After all, he himself intends to employ her and educate her intellectually. He gives her the task of reading serious literature once a week, about which the girl is to give him extensive testimony in a letter. But Fanynka soon starts to get fed up with the intellectual diet...

Ligabue is a 1978 Italian biographical drama film directed by Salvatore Nocita. It depicts real life events of painter Antonio Ligabue. For this film Nocita was awarded Nastro d'Argento for Best New Director, while Flavio Bucci won the Nastro d'Argento for Best Actor.

Convention Girls is an adult romp set at a beach-side convention of the fictitious American Association of Doll Manufacturers. This Florida-made exploitation movie contains enough frank, realistic, at times mean-spirited dialogue and adult situations to make one think of the films of the great director Robert Altman (or John Cassavetes).
