The film tries to demonstrate the way to regain possession of the city not so much with physical interventions but with behavioral and mental operations. "To live is to be at home everywhere: the phrase, almost a carousel slogan, opens the film as you start a poster, a sort of password to which the smiling face of Ugo La Pietra - all intent on the street making the beard reflected in the glass doors of a large door - offers the evidence of the images. Cinema for La Pietra becomes an indispensable means for analyzing and decoding the environment, recording the traces of an original creative activity, dismantling and reassembling the topoi of urban architecture, creating behavioral indications capable of giving life to "one's" city . At the request of a dying Tiwi man and his family on Melville Island, this film was made of the pukumani (bereavement) ceremony to follow his death. The film observes the family through the long period of preparation for the ceremony, following age-old traditions. Dancing and face-painting are rehearsed, to the family’s satisfaction, and because “things should be right for this film”. For the two days of ceremony, the community moves to Carslake Beach where a smoking ritual is held to protect the participants from spirits. The cemetery poles are erected, traditional dances are performed along with personal dances by family members. Facial and body decoration is elaborate and spectacular. After saying a final farewell to the old man, the community and the family leave the Beach and return to the village where routine life resumes.

Through the use of original and appropriated video footage, Auder translates a religious sermon into an expression of love for this strikingly beautiful woman. This lovers tale opens with a photograph of Denise that is alternately caressed and crushed in the palm of her lover's hand; a gesture oscillating between affection and an obsessive and irrational desire for possession. Auder builds on the increasing grandeur of the sermon's metaphors, extending them into the realm of destruction. The mood undergoes a violent shift as what was once fruit and flowers abruptly gives way to catastrophe. Featuring the music of Philip Glass, whose acquaintance Auder made in the early 1970s while producing work for The Kitchen.

It is the year 2076 and the effect of commercial sponsorship on the Olympic Games has had a logical effect. This year, the leading bidder for the telecasting rights for the games is a erotic tv-channel, and gold medals are given for endurance competitions that are not entirely athletic.

This documentary directed by Chang Chao-Tang (張照堂) captures a pivotal cultural moment in 1977 Taiwan. As traditional performing arts faced the pressures of modernization, professor Chiu Kun-liang (邱坤良) led a group of university students to apprentice under the masters of the historic Ling'an Society, learning "zidixi" (子弟戲)—a form of grassroots, self-organized folk opera troupe tradition. Breaking down the boundaries between academia and vernacular culture, this “cultural action” culminated in a series of open-air public performances. The film functions more as an archival record, preserving fragments of the troupe’s world: the process of stage makeup, the youthful faces of the performers, and fleeting scenes from outdoor stage performances. Through raw and evocative imagery, Chang captures the sweat, rhythms, and fervent idealism of a younger generation attempting to revive the fading sounds and social spirit of Beiguan opera from the ground up.

Interwoven are scenes of him playing the bouzouki and performing alongside Manolis Mitsias the songs *"O Trellos"* and *"Zoi Mou"*. The program also includes footage of Akis Panou crafting a bouzouki in his workshop. He explains how he got involved in instrument making, while also talking about his relationship with painting and copper engraving.

Recordings of an orchestra rehearsal, in which the soundtrack suddenly disappears, introduce us to the world without sound when the ear fails to work.
