After getting to know Shirin, Mehdi helps her to get Ata, who killed her father and is trying to take over the cabaret that belongs to Shirin with fake documents, out of her way. His brother Mahmoud, who studied medicine, returns to Iran, and takes an interest in his cousin Homa, who grew up with them since she was a child. The two decide to get married. But Mehdi's mother opposes Mahmoud's marriage with the argument that her eldest son should get married first.

This film narrates six different stories in a very lyrical way: a coachman wanders around town; two elderly people go to the park every Sunday; a man leaves flowers in various neighbourhoods in memory of a friend who was killed during the war; a boy narrates how they celebrated his father’s name-day; a member of the resistance lives his last moments; a woman keeps waiting for a letter which never arrives. Marcel L'Herbier has always been attracted to the theme of ghosts. Its first short, of 1918, took the title of "Phantasmes" and, in its filmography, worshiped this dream aspect. Four years before he passed away, he made this anthology of the fantastic French film? from 1895 to 1975.

In the Islamic tradition, when a person is buried and the binding of their cover cloth is not released, the dead will become a ‘pocong’ ghost (mythical ghost of the dead who can jump around). Another belief is that if you have unpaid debts, a cat will jump over your dead body and you’ll become a ghost. Joyoprono, a rich landlord and a loan shark, who was greedy during his life dies when a tree falls on him. After his death, a ‘pocong’ ghost comes to the village and disturbs the peace.

A young boy runs away from home with his dog Hobo and falls asleep in a train car. He has a dream about a scary run-in with an evil hobo and learns an important lesson about obeying his parents.

A man from the criminal world who left a meeting is killed by Halil at a gas station where he stopped his car, and another man is killed by Halil at a sauna pool by a young man on a motorcycle. The third target, Mr. Semih, escapes the trap and has Halil arrested by the police. Halil is convicted. Semih continues his dirty business. His only weakness is his daughter Gülben, who lost her mother at an early age. Halil rescues an elderly prisoner who is being forced to pay protection money in prison. Semih spends happy days with his daughter Gülben. However, the girl is unaware of her father's true identity. Halil is granted a ten-day furlough for good behavior. He visits the elderly man who was previously released in Istanbul. He takes a gun, a car, and the keys to the mountain house from him and goes after Semih.

A youth on the run hijacks a yacht with three children aboard.

Benyamin, a laundryman and lenong player, is a neighbor of Mimin, a widow who lives with her sister Aida. The noisy lenong practice activities often cause the two neighbors to quarrel, although they later make peace. Meanwhile, Benyamin falls in love with Ellya, an old spinster, the daughter of Mr. Hamid, the owner of the rented house where Benyamin lives. This relationship is not approved by Mr. Hamid who considers lenong players to be lowly in dignity. When Mr. Hamid begins to have a crush on Mimin, Benyamin uses this as a weapon to soften Mr. Hamid's heart.

"The Emperor is Having Fun" is a Yugoslav black-and-white television drama produced by RTV Zagreb and broadcast in 1975. It was directed by Berislav Makarovic, and the screenplay was written by Gojko Sobota. The protagonist is the tyrannical Roman emperor Nero, and the plot shows how he decides to direct a theater play and forces the courtiers to act in it in order to show their true colors.

A drama set in a rural environment. In 1948, in the middle of a joyful wedding, the groom Tomáš Záruba stumbles among the wedding guests with a gun in his hand. He was shot by his own father, who disapproved of his choice of bride. The groom, Tomáš, is the son of the old kulak Záruba, who during the occupation denounced his neighbor Libor, who subsequently ended up in a concentration camp. However, Libor survived, and young Tomáš Záruba falls in love with his daughter Jana and marries her despite his father's protests.

The film tells the story of Ahmet's struggle to build a bridge in his village after losing his mother in the Euphrates River. After finishing school and becoming an engineer, Ahmet returns to his village. His return brings joy to Hasan, his friend Osman, and his beloved Zeynep. However, Ahmet's desire to build a bridge over the river will cast a shadow over this happiness.

Nimrod Workman won a National Heritage Award for his original songs, but in the film that shares his name, he often breaks into impromptu performances of traditional ballads, dances, and delivers monologues that are just as superlative. Born in 1895, Workman provided for a family of thirteen by working in the coal mines of West Virginia, and he reminisces about his experience with union organizing in the 1920s and 30s with anecdotes that match many of the experiences of miners of later years, too. To Fit My Own Category is an extended visit at his home as Workman and his family prepare meals, build an addition to the house, dig for yellow root, swap jokes with the neighbors, and enjoy each other’s company.

The gold road part 1

In buildings where foreign workers lived in Germany, there were strict rules of conduct, defined by the house rules and supervised by the building superintendents. Many rights regarding the freedom of movement, communication and behavior were abused. Interviews with the tenants and with the "orderlies" which point out absurd situations and clashes caused by these restrictions.

This short, impressionistic film takes us to Nigeria, Japan, Mexico and India, where craftsmen work clay to produce ritual vessels and everyday objects.

Mircea, an auto-mechanic engineer who has left his wife, attends his son's pioneering Sunday go-kart rallies. There he meets the father of his colleague and rival, a prosecutor. The situation becomes tense and a work accident is investigated by the prosecutor himself...

This historical drama is based on a play by Henrik Ibsen and set in the year 1528. The central figure in the low-keyed story is a Norwegian noblewoman who is seeking to bring independence to that country despite the involved political intrigues of the Swedes and Danes, who are using Norway as a pawn in their rivalries.

Ehsan and Amirare two brothers who, due to their debts, go to the north with their mutual friend Mashaullah to hide in his villa. On the way, the three of them meet a wealthy girl named Nazi who, after learning about their problem, plans to kidnap her and informs her uncle that if the money demanded is not paid, they will kill her. Nazi's uncle, not only wishes for Nazi's death and does not pay the demanded money, but sends a person named Jabar to the North to kill Nazi if she is still alive.

When a young man literally crosses the line, he pays the price and is transformed into the little piggy wiggy he truly is.

Prince Ehtejab, one of the last remaining heirs of the Qajar royal family, is suffering from tuberculosis, which he knows is fatal. He spends his last days alone in the magnificent rooms of his wintry palace, from where he recollects the glory days of his ancestors as well as days of degradation. Among the latter are the gruesome manner in which his cruel grandfather murdered his mother and brother, and the way that he himself caused the death of his wife.

"A documentary film which looks at the issue of British Columbia Native land claims and how the aboriginals link their culture to the land, which has been stolen by the dominant white culture of North America. In the film, the argument is presented that the lands have been taken from the Natives without any clear treaty agreements and how attempts had been made to wipe out Native culture through the Residential School system. Tenants of one old building in the centre of Münich are featured in this film: most of them are foreigners who work in Germany as "guest workers" (Yugoslavs, Italians, Turks, Greeks etc.). In their mother tongue, each of them tells who he or she is, and briefly talks about their major worries, new hopes and plans for the future.

The film tells about a family of builders, their honest attitude to work and their family problems.
