An experimental short film by Greek-American filmmaker Gregory J. Markopoulos. The film was shot in Florence and is a silent 16 mm film that has not been publicly screened and is housed in the Temenos Archive in Zurich. The title of the film refers to Giovanni Cimabue (1240–1302), an Italian painter who is considered one of Italy's first great painters and represents a transitional figure between medieval and early Renaissance painting.

A nervous, careless recording of a trip through India and Nepal at the beginning of the 1970s. Fleeting impressions of faces, landscapes, temples, people and things. Images that, having been captured in a ephemeral medium, proceed to fade away (although without aging), alongside the river of time.

Conceived and made specifically for broadcast, these were transmitted by Scottish TV during the Edinburgh Festival. The idea of inserting them as interruptions to regular programmes was crucial and a major influence on their content. That they appeared unannounced, with no titles, was essential.. These transmissions were a surprise, a mystery. No explanations, no excuses. Reactions were various. I viewed one piece in an old gents club. The TV was permanently on but the occupants were oblivious to it, reading newspapers or dozing. When the TV began to fill with water newspapers dropped, the dozing stopped. When the piece finished normal activity was resumed. When announcing to shop assistants and engineers in a local TV shop that another was about to appear they welcomed me in. When it finished I was obliged to leave by the back door. I took these as positive reactions… – D.H.

Produced in 1969, this was Frank’s first autobiographical film, telling the story of a father’s relationship with his two teenaged children, and his fragile attempts to communicate with them by means of a shared story. The shared story is partly told through Frank’s narration over filmed images of his photographs, family photographs and world famous images.

But if planes and trains are constantly under control, the same goes for cars and pedestrians, where an infringement can often cause collateral damage to other drivers and / or pedestrians as well. Examples of how in some cases reckless driving can cause serious damage. Safer driving, on the other hand, can avoid further aggravating the problems of the very sick person. THE VESTAL THEATRE is a documentary shot in the lobby of a movie theater from behind the candy counter. The camera was turned off only when it ran out of film. It was shot sync-sound fixed camera. The movie goers could see the camera clearly (no Allen-Funt cute). Like Monet's cathedral, this same image would never have been the same again. The image is composed of complex, multilayered planes of focus. And I love the way people ask for popcorn and tap their dollar bills. Film time and real time are the same.

Satirizes several facets of modern urban life by following a young art director through his morning routine. His living quarters consist only of a bathroom because the architect forgot to build an apartment around it.

"Those" - a film about those who should be dispersed in groups of two and two.

Women's bodies are presented as ambiguous erotic landscapes, sometimes classically baroque, sometimes cubistic visions in a distorted reflection, depending on the camera angle and shot size. Finally the female flesh frees itself to the accompaniment of electronic smacking noises and, ignoring all gender borderlines, unites with itself in Cronenbergesque growths.
