While Charlie was watering his lawn, Bessie tells him she ordered a sprinkler. Not wanting to spend money on installing, Charlie decides to install it himself....

In a dilapidated little apartment in Vesterbro, Mrs. Knudsen lives with her incompetent and petty criminal son Arnold. Arnold's friend Benny also hangs out in the apartment at all hours, even though there is tension between the two companions. When a pretty girl accidentally rings the doorbell and ends up moving in, the battle between the two rivals breaks out into the open, and there is little room left for old Mrs. Knudsen.

A psychological drama taking place in the picturesque scenery of the sea coast, in a closed circle of four people: the lighthouse keeper, his wife and a young student couple in love with each other. Young people bring to the peaceful home not only the symptoms of exuberant joy in life, but also a different way of thinking and looking at the world.

F*** Off! shows no false respect towards the authorities in its impudent and candid reportage of the developing country/welfare state Finland. It is a cinematic parallel to Donner's New Book of Our Land (1967). The travelogue focuses especially on Finland's outsiders, low-paid workers and the unemployed. In desolate provinces, the inhabitants of a cold and barren country either humbly abide their fate, choose to move to Sweden or take refuge in excessive drinking. These images are accompanied by protest songs based on Donner's own prose and the lyrics of poet Jarkko Laine. Perkele is embodied in big business and the political elite.The jagged (anti)aesthetics of the film correspond to the underground movement and the radical politics of the time. The camera agilely penetrates everyday life. Though opposed to censorship, Fuck Off! itself transgresses the boundaries of privacy.

The French Alpine Club's film about the French expedition to conquer Makalu (8481m) via the west pillar in Nepal, which began on February 24, 1971. Composed of 11 mountaineers, Robert Paragot (expedition leader), Georges Payot, Lucien Berardini, Yannick Seigneur, Claude Jager, Jean-Paul Paris, Jean-Claude Mosca, François Guillot, Bernard Mellet, Robert Jacob and Jacques Marchal (surgeon), it took twenty-five days of walking on the Himalayan trails with 460 porters and 18 Sherpas to transport 14 tons of equipment to reach the base camp. Finally, it was Mellet and Seigneur who managed to reach the summit on May 23, 1971: 8481 m, temperature - 30°, oxygen 30%, no wind.

Canada the Land was specially commissioned for the Canada Pavilion at the Osaka World Fair in 1970.
