"Sanrizuka: The Three-Day War" is a documentary by Shinsuke Ogawa chronicling the escalation of conflict surrounding the Japanese government’s plan to build a new international airport on farmland in Sanrizuka near Tokyo. As farmers resisted eviction and activists from across the country joined the struggle, clashes with police intensified, resulting in large-scale confrontations that marked a critical phase of the Sanrizuka movement.

Latvian soldiers seek political asylum in Sweden after their country falls under Russian control at the end of World War II. They had been forced into military service by the Nazis to fight against the Russians. Fearing reprisals from the Russians for fighting against them, they struggle desperately to stay in Sweden. After a hunger strike, suicides, and political intervention by Sweden fails to keep them from their former enemy, they are ultimately given over to the Russian authorities. The men are sentenced to hard labor in prison camps and later released, and Latvians are plunged into repression by the aftermath of the bloody war. The cycle of political unrest was still apparent more than 50 years after the conflict.

In 1920, Michael, the son of a German laboring man, decides to travel to Russia. As "red horseman" he wants to support the socialist revolution and fight for the welfare of the working class. The journey towards the east turns out to be both a big adventure and a severe ethical test for the young man. He has to escape the German Armed Forces and ends up at a traveling circus where he falls in love with Fanny, a dressage rider. He overcomes the temptation to stay with her at the circus and - after briefly joining a gang of teenage thieves - he eventually boards a ship heading east. Aboard the ship he finds out that the seamen are transporting weapons for the hostile members of the White Army.

Jimmy Riley makes friends with Colin and Brian Buxton, both keen members of a schoolboys' scramble club. Lennie and Cliff, old friends of Jimmy's, steal wealthy Mr Hepplewhite's car. Jimmy finds the crooks with the car but will not join in with them.

Major Hariev, a State Security officer, manages to learn that the spying center codenamed Citadel receives encoded letters. Sometime later, the Bulgarian agent in the West reports that the spy h as a subscription to the French woman's magazine. The State Security men find a beautician, who received the magazine and delivers it to Ivan Bolyarski, director of an important state department. Hariev follows Bolyarski to his meeting with the Hawk, his associate working in a military unit. The Hawk agrees to deliver the request information for an exorbitant sum of money. Hariev runs into the Hawk and kills him in the fight. Bolyarski is arrested. Major Hariev is planted in his cell. In a moment of demoralization, the agent discloses the secrets of the Citadel to Hariev. Hariev has to go to the Citadel, passing off as the Hawk. He takes a leap in the dark and does not know if he will ever come back to his wife and his child.

Kalán Imre, the district doctor lives in a small village surrounded by mountains. One day he is visited by two young relatives of his and their friend, a doctor at the beginning of his career. The name of the doctor is Király András, and he happens to be the great love of Kalán's young wife from her unmarried years. The orthodox Stalinist Kalán's entire life is filled with his great passion, hunting. The suffocating, narrow lives of the prominent people in the area are slowly revealed to András.

In 1827, at an inn in Nafplio, the capital of the newly established Greek state, a group of people from different parts of Greece are celebrating the defeat of the Turkish fleet in Navarino. However, in their patriotic fervor they drink too much, and a hot-tempered Arvanite, not understanding the dialect of a Cretan and thinking he has insulted him, injures him with a pistol. Police Inspector Dionysios Fantes from the Ionian Islands arrives at the scene to interrogate the witnesses but he too can't understand their various dialects as they can't understand his.

The cruel Professor Savantas invites himself into an oasis cut off from the world to recover a huge diamond, which is the totem of the indigenous population and the keystone of the magical balance of the place.

Ahmed, an Algerian laborer and young father, leaves his country and arrives in France, hoping to find a job through Salah, a friend who has been living in the Paris suburbs for several years. Veettuku Veedu is a 1970 Indian Tamil-language comedy film, directed by C. V. Rajendran and produced by S. Suryaprakash, Rajan, R. Renganathan and R. Parthasarathy. The film's script was written by Chitralaya Gopu. It stars Jaishankar, Lakshmi, R. Muthuraman, Vennira Aadai Nirmala and Nagesh in lead roles, with V. K. Ramasamy and Major Sundararajan playing supporting roles. Soundtrack was composed by M. S. Viswanathan. The 2001 Tamil film Viswanathan Ramamoorthy is said to be based on this film. Veettuku Veedu is based on the play Thikku Theriyatha Veettil.

The events are set between 2160 and 2025 BC. When the peasant Khun-anup and his donkey stumble upon the lands of the noble Rensi, the peasant’s goods are confiscated and he’s unjustly accused of theft. The peasant petitions Rensi who is so taken by the peasant’s eloquence that he report his astonishing discovery to the king. The king realises the peasant has been wronged but delays judgement so as to he can hear more of his eloquence. The peasant makes a total of nine petitions until finally, his goods are returned.
