Cinematic Era: 1969 Vintage

The 1969 Indian Bengali film.

Mac and Moon are running a successful white slaving business on their river boat, until Maude stumbles into their midst, looking to escape life on the farm. She soon organizes the other captives to take over the boat.

Music composed, modified and assembled by Vladimir Ussachevsky at the Columbia-Princeton Electronic Music Laboratory. The complete, extended composition is synchronized with a film by Lloyd Michael Williams, expressly created for the occasion. During the final stages of composition all sound materials were further modified and assembled at the Columbia-Princeton Electronic Music Studio.

Mrs. Hanák is a hairdresser and a cleaner in a KTSZ. She knows how difficult it is to find a successor, so she constantly bullies the members of the cooperative. When she quits, the workers do everything they can to make her stay.

More than twenty years after the Second World War, a mining engineer named Fischer is revealed as a former member of the Gestapo, Karel Kraus. He is sentenced for murder to eight years in prison and now works with other prisoners on the renovation of the Convent of St Agnes of Bohemia in Prague. Then a car with a foreign registration begins to park regularly close to the construction site. Its crew, a man and a woman, contact the construction foreman, who probably would not reject a bribe offer to perform some service. The prisoner Bicík is appointed to work with Kraus; Bicík gives him a message from Kraus' brother Bert, who lives abroad, that he wants to help him escape.
