As well as being a record of the role of the colonial administration, Along the Sepik offers insights into some tribal communities' cultures through depictions of their spirit houses and traditional 'sing sing' ceremonies. Downes investigates a murder, and the culprit is caught and tried by a magistrate in a jungle courthouse under the Australian flag, on the edge of the Sepik River. Australian patrol officers and their men operated under rugged conditions to bring western law and order to this remote area. The film also portrays some of the impact the colonial government had on regional, traditional communities.

He threatens the landowner's nephew for his inheritance, prompting the nephew to devise several plans to discredit the boy in the eyes of his grandfather. The plans almost succeed, but thanks to help from the priest, among others, the story ends with a reconciliation between the grandson and his grandfather.

Bubble chambers are typically used to record interactions between high-energy particles and the nuclei of the chamber’s working fluid, or to observe particle decays. When an ionizing particle enters the chamber, its trajectory is marked by a trail of vapor bubbles, which can then be photographed. The ability to visually analyze these events made it possible to discover particles that could not be detected by any other means. Most notably, this includes the cascade decays of strange particles, whose decay products were either fully or partially captured in the chamber images.

Christian Luka, an old wine grower, lives alone in the village of Redu Mare. Mahmoud reads in the newspaper that the police have found a corpse in the forest that had previously been stolen from the morgue. Mahmoud breaks off his partnership with Jabbar, but Jabbar takes him to Sohrab Khan's estate and shows him Farhad. Sohrab locks Mahmoud in a small room. Farhad rescues Mahmoud, and Mahmoud takes Farhad to his real father and marries Nahid.

The scissors cut out a little man with huge boxing gloves from black paper. The boy comes to life and is immediately convinced of his punching power. So he grabs the scissors himself and cuts out a huge opponent to demonstrate his strength. He makes a complete fool of himself in the process. It doesn't help that he cuts his opponent smaller and smaller and finally even sticks him down with glue. Although he adorns himself with the laurels of victory at the end, it is clear that he is just a ridiculous paper hero.
