A man with a past gets married and it seems that he will be able to start a new life, but an unexpected inheritance gets in the way and deteriorates the relationship with his wife.

Charlie Pattison, a wealthy American, lands at Athens airport, where he has just received an emergency phone call from his friend Maurice. The two men met in prison camps and have vowed to track down a certain Nazi doctor, Hermann Geiss, a connoisseur of masterpieces who is guilty of criminal experiments on prisoners. From 7000m, oxygen bottles become essential, as the difficulty of the climb prevents acclimatization. The expedition is a total success: the majority of its members reach the 7710m summit.
