When performing a test flight, Kolchin dies, his last words are recorded on tape. Having studied them, Kolchin's friend Sergei Sharov makes a new attempt and completes the test of the aircraft.

A photographer plans to murder his rich young wife after she catches him cheating on her and threatens to divorce him so he won't get any of her money. He arranges for her to have an auto accident. In this comedy, a run-down hotel drums up customers by sabotaging passing cars. The stuck motorists are then obliged to stay. Unfortunately, one of the sabotaged cars belongs to a bank robber. The hotel staff wants the robber out, but they also want to keep his ill-gotten money.

Pepe Nietnagel and his fellow students of the Mommsen school come up with all kinds of ideas to get out of doing any actual school work. This includes simulating suicides, setting off the air-raid sirens and abusing the school director's new broadcasting system. They succeed in sending their teacher to a sanatorium and get a replacement that turns out to not be so bad after all.

During a two-day period before and after the University of Alabama integration crisis, the film uses five camera crews to follow President John F. Kennedy, attorney general Robert F. Kennedy, Alabama governor George Wallace, deputy attorney general Nicholas Katzenbach and the students Vivian Malone and James Hood. As Wallace has promised to personally block the two black students from enrolling in the university, the JFK administration discusses the best way to react to it, without rousing the crowd or making Wallace a martyr for the segregationist cause. A naive young country girl moves to Dublin and finds herself drawn to a sophisticated author twice her age.

Wan Cho-sin has two daughters. The elder sister Wai-man is genteel and graceful, and the younger sister Wai-ping, taken under the tutelage of Lady Knight Silver Fox, is extrovert, outgoing and gregarious. The drug kingpin Chung Chi-wang has his eyes set on Wai-man but the girl is in love with Ma Kim-leung. Ko Tin-yam, who fearlessly wields his journalistic pen against the gangster, joins forces with his girlfriend Wai-ping to beat off Kong Yau-ming and the thugs dispatched by Chung. The encounter, leads to Kong's recognition of Wai-ping as his flesh and blood entrusted to Cho-sin's care years ago. Wai-ping pleads with her father to turn over a new leaf but fails to save him from Chung's murderous hand. Wai-man and Ma ingratiate themselves with the gangster, who uses the duo to elude the police while transferring drugs to a secluded villa. Wai-ping tips off the authorities about the traffickers' whereabouts and cracks down on the drug ring.

Vesterman has found a young seal in his fishing nets in the outskirts of the archipelago. When he comes back to the Saltkråkan island he gives the seal to Tjorven, who names it Moses. Peter Malm, a visitor who works at the Zoological Institute in Uppsala, wants to buy the seal, but Tjorven says it's not for sale. Vesterman is in need of money and tries to get the seal back, to sell it to Peter. The children have to hide the seal, so he won't find it. Pelle's rabbit Jocke and one of Söderman's lambs are found bitten to death. The dog Båtsman is accused of those evil deeds, which means that Tjorven's father has to shoot her dog. In the last minute Söderman finds out that a fox is the perpetrator. Peter Malm says he won't buy the seal. Vesterman is disappointed and the seal stays with the children.

A Civil War veteran is amnesic after being shot in the head. When he returns to his hometown, he finds out that he has been declared a deserter. The local judge offers him a chance to clear his name, but he only wants to send him against some dangerous outlaw and his gang.
