A map that leads to treasure and trouble: John, Mary and Anne go in search of Jack Mundy's loot only to find that his map wasn't quite complete. Not content with the typical family holiday bucket and spade film, Herbert Arundel from Longsdon in Staffordshire recorded his three children in a tense drama during a pre-war holiday in Cornwall. Its youthful protagonists and smugglers' treasure plot pre-dates the Famous Five by a good few years and culminates in a splendidly tense finale. Will the Arundel children return from the adventure victorious or will the evil local put a stop to their ways?

A young girl loses her mind when her long-absent father tries to separate her from her mother. During the attempted kidnapping, the father kills the mother, which traumatizes the girl. After her father is imprisoned, the girl is cared for by neighbors who are unable to prevent a wicked man named Karkow from kidnapping her and taking her to a remote location. The girl grows up with a mental disturbance and becomes an accomplished dancer. One day, she is seen by a doctor of fortune, Dr. Zevallos, who decides to cure her, despite Karkow's opposition. Dr. Zevallos manages to heal the girl, but a physical confrontation with Karkow ensues, similar to the one between her parents. The shock of the experience restores her sanity, and the dancer begins a new life.

“How many are we?” (as written, with only a single question mark at the end and without the accent mark prescribed by the Academy) is a short promotional and educational sound film that sought to prepare the population for what would become the 1938 census, known as the “first modern census” of Colombia. The images of Bogotá, Medellín, Barranquilla, Cali, Cartagena, and Quibdó reaffirm the quality of framing and composition that the Acevedo family left as the hallmark and legacy of their cinematic work. This short film is not referenced in the publications that have been produced about these pioneers of national cinema; it was only rediscovered in 2012 thanks to the work carried out by the Fundación Patrimonio Fílmico Colombiano within the framework of the Colombian Audiovisual Heritage Strengthening Program.

This film consists predominantly of scenic footage, mostly in colour, of various European locales, including the Gota Canal, the Rhine River, Lake Lucerne, and Venice. The film opens with footage shot on an ocean liner during the voyage to Europe. Also includes footage of women weaving and tending gardens in a small village. Excellent camera work and editing for an amateur film, with title cards introducing each location.

Peter Alexander, interviewed in Sydney, born and brought up as Mavis Higgins in New Zealand, speaks of his sex change from female to male. He discusses the aspects of his personality when younger which influenced his decision, his view of women in society and his plans for the future. Although Peter talks about shaving it is not clear if any medical intervention had assisted his sex change. The predominant voice in this clip is that of Alexander, dressed in jacket and tie, talking cheerily about his interest in sport, his awareness that his "male side and personality" were always dominant, his desire to marry and continue with his musical career. The story was sensationalised in the tabloid newspaper of the day "The Truth".

A film illustration of the work of the great textual critic Sergei Mikhailovich Bondi, a Pushkinist, who said that Pushkin's drafts cannot be read and printed sequentially, from top to bottom. This is because Pushkin added to the line more than once, crossed out, changed something, and if we want to understand how Pushkin worked on the verse, we need to get into his psychology and sequentially remove layer after layer. The film uses animation techniques to analyze the Russian poet's writing process.
